This verse commands the Muslims to encourage the marriage in the community; this of course will prevent the phenomenon of adultery! ========= Back to the main issue of my series of articles; this is my question to you smart readers: "Is the Quran quoted from the Bible?"
The Old Testament Verses from 1-10 are talking about Judah solved the problem of the seed by committing adultery with his son's wife Tamar! The New Testament Verses from 1-10 are talking about 1) the divorce was allowed because of the hard hearts of the Jews, 2) Jesus forbade the divorce and 3) If you divorce then marry again it is adultery. The Noble Quran Verses from 1-10 are talking about the disbelievers say that the Prophet is a lying sorcerer, because he has made the gods one god? (See the third part). ========= New Testament
Chapter 38 in the New Testament is Mark 10; it is composed of 52 verses. Verses from 1-10 are talking about 1) the divorce was allowed because of the hard heart of the Jews, 2) Jesus forbade the divorce and 3) If you divorce then marry again it is adultery. ---------------
The details and comments:
1) The Pharisees, Jews' priests were tempting Jesus (they did that many times). 2) The Pharisees said that Moses allowed the divorce 3) Jesus said unto them, for the hardness of your heart Moses allowed the divorce! It follows that the cause of allowing the divorce is the hard heart of the Jews! 4) Jesus said that the married couple:" they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh." Scientifically speaking, this is not true! 5) Then Jesus forbade the divorce and the marriage after divorce and said If you divorce then marry again it is adultery. The question is: what if the life between married couples was impossible? What if one partner was very sick and can not perform his or her duty? What if…etc.
On the other hand, the scholars of sociology say that divorce is a human life affair that takes place under special conditions. They also say that forbidding of divorce is an anti-human right that leads to the widespread of adultery. This may explain the two widespread phenomena in the western countries that are: 1) withhold of marriage and 2) encouragement of adultery. According to Islam, divorce is allowed but under strict and rigid law. Also, marriage after divorce is allowed too under rigid law too. ---------------
Mark 10 (King James Version)
1] And he arose from thence and cometh into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort unto him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again. 2] And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him. 3] And he answered and said unto them, what did Moses command you? 4] And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away. 5] And Jesus answered and said unto them, for the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept. 6] But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. 7] For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; 8] And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. 9] What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. 10] And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter. =========
