Soyou've read the headline and you're thinking ?ofcourse she's marketing for the six week diet, that?swhy?. Sorry, but no, I am not just a marketer, I am also aninsecure woman for a long duration of my life until I found the sixweek diet.
Ihave gone through a lot of products, tried a lot of methods short ofsurgery. I have always wanted to be thin just like those super modelsI see on TV. I wanted to be a dancer, a part of the crowd. But Inever did have the courage to socialize because I knew I wasoverweight. I tried to exercise but I was demotivated too earlybecause I was still fat months after.
Andthen I heard about the six week diet everyone has been talking about, how effective it was. At first I thought this was just one of theweight loss fad I have heard but I decided to look it up and try todiscover what it is about. I did the initial assessment and that?swhen I realized that I've been too hard on myself. It looks asif I wasn't really overweight ? my body was just of adifferent type.
That?sjust one of the lessons I learned from this extreme makeover. Thereare, of course, many others. For example, I have learned that weightloss is not about getting thin ? it is more about fitness andhaving the right amount of energy to do the things I want to do. Mybeing overweight wasn't because of my genes, rather, it wasself-imposed. I over ate when I was depressed. I ate junk food andfast food because I didn't have time to cook food. I realizedthese were just excuses and that I could stop it if only I wanted to.
There?sno such thing as a magic pill when it comes to weight loss ?that's what an extreme makeover is all about. With the six weekdiet, I learned to make changes in my lifestyle. I have also learnedthat I don't need to be a super model, but I can still be adancer.
