[D210]Designer Clothing For Less
by Gregg Hall, Gre
The first thing you should think of when it comes to getting clothes is outlet malls or stores. If you travel and run out of clean clothes and can't get to a washer and dry soon outlet stores and malls are the way to go.

Talk to the people selling the clothes, you don't even know how many items are marked down in the back that just aren't on the shelves yet. If you just talk to the sales people when you enter the store then they will most likely tell you right off the bat what the sales are in the store at the time. I am pretty sure that you don't like to spend a lot of money on clothes so you should look for sales all the time in outlet stores.

If you have discount coupons there is a good chance that you will have a few on named brand clothes and they will be cheap. There are many out there as well.

If you didn't know small shops and stands offer the biggest sales and discounts better than any store or mall around. Often when clothing is marked down on the market it will be cheap at these many places. Since there is little space on the stands these prices will be unbeatable anywhere but here. Most of these people running a stand have a popular name and know what the customer wants so they will have a lot on the shelves that you may want already. So go check these stands out they might have what you are looking for, for a way cheaper price.

The best way to shop is to shop at stores where commission is made. The people selling you the clothes will most likely bend over to help you out in getting a good deal. Although they might not be able to give you a huge discount on a good pair of jeans they might be able to give you free other stuff. They might even be sneaky and give you a nice gift card for shopping with them. That is if the nicer manager allows it. Just try and do your best when it comes to choosing your clothes. Be careful what you buy don't get overpriced this can be your biggest problem when buying clothes.

You have probably heard about all the popular types of designer clothing on the market these days: Aeropostale, Calvin Klein, Abercrombie, and H&M, among many others. There are definitely all sorts of brand-name clothes to try on if you're shopping at the mall or going to a designer clothing store.

Furthermore, there seems to be just as many designer brands of clothing as there are income levels to afford everything that's marketed in the stores. In other words, while one name-brand may price their clothing at one level so that middle-class income levels can easily afford them, other designer brands sometimes want to attract a much higher-class of individuals, possibly pricing their clothing lines in the thousands of dollars for a single item.

No matter which brand of designer clothes you buy, though, chances are that you can rest assured that you'll be purchasing a quality product for the price you pay. Brand names, such as Calvin Klein and Christian Dior, usually spare no expense when making their products because they actually want repeat customers that will buy from them again and again.

Pros and Cons: Of course, designer and brand-name clothing has its ups and downs like all things. First, the upside to consumers who continually buy designer clothes is the fact that there will usually always be a market for them to buy their clothes. Second, consumers are actually getting a quality product for their purchase, and they should be if they're willing to fork out the necessary money to spend on brand name clothing lines.

On the other hand, one downside to being interested in brand-name clothing is that some companies may go belly-up without notice. For example, one brand-name clothing store that attracts middle-class Americans, Old Navy, will be closing its doors because it can't keep up producing quality clothes and products while selling them at low prices.

Brand Name Alternatives: Just as there are two sides to every story, there are some individuals who contend that clothing lines and products don't need to be purchased in a high-end retail store where the clerks are only concerned about their commission they make on selling clothing lines. Instead, some people push that everyone buy their clothes at low-price stores, such as WalMart or other stores that do not carry brand-names, but rather carry "off brands" or generic clothing.

While there is nothing wrong with this argument for the people who actually purchase this type of clothing, there seem to be many more problems with buying generic or off-brand types of clothing than there are with buying designer clothing pieces themselves. For starters, the work that goes into producing off-brand clothes is sometimes mediocre at best, which means consumers will end up replacing the items they wear many times over, forcing them to spend more on their clothes than if they had purchased designer clothes in the first place.

Simply put, there is no better product to spend your money on, pertaining to the items you wear, than designer clothing. Whether you want to buy Calvin Klein denim jeans or shirts, Armani clothing, Agatha, Liz Claiborne, or even Levi's for that matter, you can bet that you'll be getting a quality product for the amount of money you're willing to spend. No, designer clothing may not be very cheap in terms of money spent, but the quality of the products usually goes unmatched!
