Depending on the type of lymphoma and where the lymphoma is actively growing symptoms can vary. Symptoms like anemia (low red blood cells count) the bone marrow dysfunction are not so common but are present in later stages of the disease and also as side effect of some treatments. MALT lymphomas may present as an upset stomach or an enlarged lymph node can cause a change in bowel movement.

Other symptoms are flu-like symptoms like aches and pains, localized pain that may occur depending on the location of tumors, and frequent infections resulting from depressed immunity.
The diagnosis of lymphoma (which requires a biopsy) is often delayed because b-symptoms are common to both minor and serious medical conditions. Fever, night sweats, weight loss in excess of 10%, or asthenia, called systemic symptoms are infrequent at presentation of the disease but can be observed in later stages. If a patient develops systemic symptoms the progression to an intermediate-grade or high-grade lymphoma should be considered. To monitor progression monitoring blood for increasing levels of LDH and Human beta-2 microglobulin is used.

Your cat's health depends on regualr, well-balanced meals. Adult cats should be fed twixe a day and will almost certainly remind you when it's mealtime! Compare the Siamese with the Persian. There are two main considerations when choosing a pedigree. Firstly, do you have time to groom your cat every day? Daily de-tangling is essential for a longhair. Shorthairs, on the other hand, have easy-care coats. The one thing that varies greatly between pedigree breeds is temperament. Persians and Ragdolls tend to laid-back and very relaxed. The Singapura is rather shy, while the Siamese is notoriously loud and attention-seeking.
New breeds are constantly in the making. In order to be aacepted as such, they fulfill certain criteria as laid down by the various cat registration associations. Some of the latter are very particular about breed qualification. Others are less strict, which is why there are thus a variable number of recognized breeds. However, most of the long established breeds are recognized by all registrations, including the famous Manx cat. A long-haired version of the Manx can be found in Canada during the mid- 1960s.
This breed would not be accepted by a number of registrations were it not for its long establishment.
