There is nothing more dramatic than a saltwater aquarium filled with exotic specimens of fish. It is the top-of-the-line in fish tanks, and while it is harder to maintain and more expensive than a freshwater tank, it gives you the chance to have a greater variety of interesting fish. Many of the fish that are appropriate for a saltwater tank are extremely colorful and attractive. If you are thinking about getting a saltwater fish tank for your home, however, you need to carefully consider the differences in the various types of aquariums.
The decision of what type of tank to get depends on the kinds of fish that you want. If you want a few goldfish, you'll need to get a freshwater tank. If, on the other hand, you want to have a clownfish or some other exotic tropical fish, you must get a saltwater tank. If you don't know what kind of fish you want to own, check out a few of the species at your local pet store and determine which of them would be best for you.
You need to understand the differences between a freshwater and a saltwater aquarium. On the whole, a freshwater tank is easier to maintain, and it will let you have a larger number of fish in the tank at one time. It lets you purchase relatively inexpensive fish as well. If you want to become involved with something more challenging, get a saltwater aquarium. It will require more work, but it will also offer greater rewards. You'll have a wider range of fish species to choose from, and you'll get to create your very own little ocean environment in your home.
You must also consider how much you want to spend on your aquarium and the amount of time you have to take care of your fish. Another factor to consider is the amount of room you have in which to place a fish tank. You can get a small saltwater aquarium, but most people prefer to have the larger versions. However, a larger tank requires more time and attention.
Consider your choices carefully so that you don't take on more than you can comfortably handle. Remember, fish are living things and need regular care and feeding. If you decide to get a saltwater aquarium, you will find many options and choices available and waiting for you.
One of the many challenges in bringing the Law of Attraction into effect in your life is determining what you really want. You have to be able to focus on a clear goal (or set of goals). It is okay to start out a little bit vague, but you want to get as specific as possible as quickly as possible. You are looking for an ever clearer picture of your desired outcome.
The next challenge comes from the difference between surface thought and deep structures in the mind (sometimes referred to as the conscious mind and the sub-conscious mind). Ultimately, you want to imprint what you wish to achieve so deeply in your own mind that you come to a point where your goal is always in the background. You want it to be part of your subconscious programming. When you make the goal a part of you on a deep level, you will constantly be broadcasting that goal out to the people you meet and the universe in general.
We can say that we want something, but if we have been directing our awareness against it for years, then on a deep level, we are still broadcasting old programming. It's as if our subconscious mind 'wants' the opposite of the new goal.
As an example, I can't tell you how many women I've spoken to that have the dream of meeting that one special person and settling down, but have only a vague notion of it. On the other hand, they have a very vivid image of becoming an 'old maid', or a 'spinster'. They usually even have a good friend with whom they often joke about becoming old maids together. There is nothing wrong with this kind of humor, but if you put more mental energy into this (unwanted outcome) than you put into your desired outcome, which do you think you're going to get?
When you first begin to redirect your focus, there will probably be quite a bit of pre-existing programming that you will have to overcome. With only visualization, this can take quite a while, but persistent practice will pay off. There are also many ways to speed up the process, including energy work, NLP, hypnosis, etc. One of the easiest ways, though, is with the use of mindfulness meditation.
To access your subconscious with mindfulness, you have to start by accepting it. Close your eyes. Mentally state your goal. Picture it. Hear what you will hear, and feel what you will feel when you have achieved it. Notice any resistance that comes up. Let it go. The typical instinct is to resist. Accept it! Allow it to be... allow it to flow (let your body relax as well). Once you begin to experience the pictures, sounds, and feelings of resistance or failure as a flow or a wave, then you can begin to redirect them. There is no resistance, just redirection.
This is a paradox: the more you resist the experiences (in the now or in the future) you want to avoid, the less control you have over them. The more you accept this moment and your concepts of future, the more you take on the power to direct these experiences as you see fit.
Once you deeply accept yourself as you are, then you can experience truly powerful change!
