When summer comes around our thoughts start to turn to outdoor activities. Going to the park, going to the zoo or just hanging out by the pool. These are all great activities but there is one more thing that is just a part of summer. That thing is going to the amusement park. It is fun for both adults and children alike. If you are in Allentown PA you are in luck. It is home to a great park called Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom. Keep reading and learn a little about this place.


The park is huge with something for just about everyone in your entire family. If for example you like thrill rides you have the Dominator which will take you on a a 5 story trip up and then will drop you straight back down. You also have the Hydra which is a floorless roller coaster that will take you on a surprising ride. There are severla others including the Laser, Meteor, Screamin Swing and Steel Force. Are water rides more your speed? You are still in luck as there are many of those at the park including the Aquablast which is one of the longest elevated water rides in the world and the Cascade which is a thirty foot tall slide with a pool below. There are several more water rides at the park including wave pools and rapids. Do you have kids? If so do not think that they are left out, you can take them on a number of children's rides. They include the Antique Cars, Charlie Brown's Swing, Dune Buggies and the list goes on and on. As you can see the park has a lot to offer. This just scratches the surface.
