Avoid the online ezines that who offer to sell you something immediately after signing up for their free service. I have found almost without exception that these services will not be worth your time. They will only try and sell you the latest money making opportunity they came across.
Avoid the services that have a lot of flashy promotion on their opt-in page. The problem with the majority of these only push online business ideas.
Many of the whorthwhile services that I receive had simple sign up pages. These sites most always contained a picture of the editor with a brief rundown of the author's history.
Take time to acquaint yourself with the emails you are receiving. Find the services that provide good quality information. Remember, the good ones will give good free advice and only promote products and services that will truly help you earn money online.
Once you find a person providing great service and worthwhile recommendations, stick with them. You can build earn money online by following their advice, I know I did.

Knowing that you have competition lets you know there is a market but more importantly it lets you compare your product to your competition. It's recommended that before you even begin to spend hours creating your product you instead spend hours researching your competition.
