The cardinal principle of healthy eating is that a big grub should be always eaten at least three to four hours before the exercise and where you are in for a cloudless meal you must have a two to three hours gap between the meal and exercise.

The second principle of healthy eating is simply avoiding eating fat in any form as much as possible.

The third principle of well apprehending eating is to drink a lot of water past you exercise as this will not allow you to dehydrate and keep your body cool.

In order to keep yourself healthy, you have to eat a healthy diet. If you can eat a healthy diet, the risk of having heart attack will decrease. Of course you will also be able to lose weight if you are a bit overweight. However, it is not that easy to stick to a really healthy diet since we are usually tempted to eat some unhealthy foods such as French fries.

You should try to understand what kind of food is healthy when you are trying to eat a healthy diet. You may try to eat various foods. Different foods contain different nutrients and you have to have a balance. In fact, the colors of the vegetables can give you a cue on the nutritional values of them.

As you may know you can find green, yellow, orange and red vegetables and fruits. When you are shopping for these fruits and vegetables, you have to pick various colored fruits. You can buy apples, oranges, bananas and blueberries etc. This is also true for vegetables. You should pick different colors of vegetables. A large variety of colors will certainly mean it is better for you.

It is also important for you to eat different kinds of food. Of course you should avoid junk food. Besides fruits and vegetables, you should eat other kinds of food such as meat. You should do this to make sure that your diet will be a balanced one. Remember to take some carbohydrates. You can eat some potatoes or pastas in order to get carbohydrates. There are some diets which do not allow any intake of carbohydrates. However, it will be a lot healthier if you take carbohydrates since carbohydrates will give you the energy in order to make your body to function properly. It is also important for you to eat fish and food that contains good fat.

Sometimes you may want to eat snack. You need to stick to healthy foods even if you are eating snack. You need to eat the right food when you are having your snacks. You should try to eat nuts, seeds and fruits. Of course vegetables can also be good. Remember, taking French fries as your snacks will not do any good to you.

It is very important to eat healthy. It is not because you have to lose weight. It is because you have to keep yourself healthy. It will help you to prevent diseases in the later years in your life.
