[D559]Dogs With Bad Breath
by John Williams, Joh
Dog's bad breath like most other dog symptoms can be the cause of many different issues separately or together, this makes the cause hard to diagnose without a proper examination from a professional dog carer or vet.

Common causes of dog bad breathe -

Maybe your dog is finding it hard to eat or swallow which can lead to dog's bad breath and other illnesses that are related.

Saliva drooling from your dog's mouth may also be a cause of bad dog breath, as more saliva gets built up in your dog's mouth is makes it easier for bacteria to breed resulting in bad breath.

The last and most common form of bacteria build up is from not cleaning or not properly cleaning your dog's teeth, this enables tartar to form and make the bad odour you are forced to smell day in day out.

Many believe that food choice and what you feed your dog is a problem when dog breath is concerned, as this may be true to an extent this is more of a temporary short term problem and the reason above is more likely to be the problem cause.

There are plenty of dental hygiene products available in pet shops and online, some work better than others on different dogs but you best bet is to clean your dog's teeth regularly to stop the bacteria build up, this is where the problem begins and where you should target your efforts.

If you fear the problem has got too far to recover or damage or the gums and teeth is visible you should contact your vet as soon as possible for help and a proper diagnosis of your pet.

Dealing with bad breath couldbe a frustrating experience. If it were on you, there surely are a lot of ways, methods, and cure available to you. But what if somebody else has it?

And what if that person is soclueless about it? Can you tell him not to talk to you at all? Or would youleave the group because the speaker has bad breath? If you don't know how todeal with it, here are tips you can follow:

1. Offer him a mint.

Mints can provide immediate, although temporary, relief to bad breath. If you know for a fact that you'll betalking to somebody who has bad breath, then better be ready with a candy ortwo. Offer it at the moment you the person. To be safe, always keep a pack of mintsin your pocket. You never know who you will encounter. And you can use it onyourself too.

2. Cut the conversation short.

This may seem impolite but ifyou can't stand it any longer, think of excuses for you to go somewhere else.Tell him it's an emergency. Or that you have really pressing matters to attendto at the moment and you can't possibly stay longer.

3. Pretend to be busy.

If you can't leave the areatry to do something else that would distract the speaker. You can look at yourpockets, check your mobile phone, or drop some coins. While this may not stophim from talking, at least he wouldn't have to drag on with his story and getthe idea that you're not really interested with what he's saying.

4. Treat him to lunch.

If the person who has badbreath is an important one, like a client or your boss, it is best that youtalk over lunch. If it isn't the time for meals, offer to buy him some soda orhave snacks with you. That way, you can talk better because the substances infood would react with the saliva in his mouth. That's instant bad breathsolution for you. Just make sure that you don't give him anything that couldworsen the situation, like raw onions, perhaps.

5. Use hand gestures.

A simple wave of your handcould make the speaker get the idea ? especially if he knows that he issuffering from chronic bad breath. While that's a little embarrassing for him,he can rest his doubts on the fact that maybe the hand gesture doesn't meananything at all.

6. Tell a friend.

You can ask a close friend ofthe person with bad breath to tell him of his problem. Real friends can counton each other. Hopefully, you can count on this fact too.

7. Take it or leave it.

If you can't stand it, justsay it. Although you still must do so politely. Try to find a way to tell aperson of his breath condition without embarrassing him greatly. But if youdon't have the guts to tell it out to him, then just be a brave soul andwithstand it. He can't speak all his life anyway.
