[D589]Dont Let You Go
by Steve May, Ste
As dawn breaks over the horizon the light appears thru the darkness as the rays pierce the blanket of black. The thick night fades into levels of day as the sun rises upwards. The morning takes over the sky as the last of dawn disseminates from view. The dew remains for a while as a reminder of the night before. As the leftover moisture slowly evaporates into the warmth of the new day most of the dew will likely seep into leaves, blades, and ground giving nourishment from the touch of liquid under the sun. Plant and earth breathes to grow leaf or seed from the expanse of the morning light.

Day breaks into early fullness as the sun blossoms into being rising up through as an arch of the blue sky. All life below springs to activity to the busyness of recreating itself for growth. Leg or paw reach outward to march or wings reverberate through the air on missions for feed. Humans wake to conscience to think or plan, to hammer or saw, building constantly of their existence as ants and insect thrive to construct and maintain habitat. Everything generates from the ground in the wake of the light that spreads as a vision shining covering the energy to do.

The peak of the sun illuminates the world in the acme of glory. Idea and deed burst into manifestations as plant leaf and fruit bare ripeness for all to use. The balance of nature to counter every natural phenomenon with a reaction evens the scale of existence. Everything as a being walks in magnificence of purpose. The blue of the sky is crystal clear and the air thin, able to see forever in the light of the day.

In the glow of the afternoon finality bears the fruit of completeness. Jobs and projects finish or wind down for the task of day nears the end. Petals and stem start to wither and curl as the reason to mature progresses into the preparation of the evening. Idea turns into ideals as thought vocalize into the vanity of opinions by speculating what is believed as the absolutes of all truth. The buzz of movement by bird, bug, or mammal relinquishes the rapidity of aim when the length of the sun's course finishes toward the end of the day's path.

Yet the fiery mass as it seems to orbit toward the end of the horizon diminish in rays. This time, distance nor twilight tempers the flame. No longer will the solar flares erupt out of the bright sphere as the transformation takes place turning the sun into a dwarf star. Night creeps forever over the planet and the coldness of the universe freezes movement. Bird and plant fall or droop to the ground. Animals roar out in instinct of the extinction fast approaching. Humans in fear race about babbling absurdities until they finally secede from life. All plant and mammal in physical form decompose back to the darkened earth. Our galaxy is discovered light years away and seen that a certain planet could have sustained life under a dwarf star that could have been a sun.

Women put in a tremendous amount of work into looking their all time best for that one special day, to the detriment of the men they're about to marry. Because truly, who can keep up that look for even another day? And yet most men want their wives to look the way they did they day they married them, including the long hair, the slim body, etc.). And most women settle in to taking the rest of their lives to change the their husbands into something they husband can never be. Does this sound like a set-up for marriage failure?

A quarter century down the road we hardly look the sexy, slim women we were on our wedding day, to the sadness of our husbands who now are in the deep end of the pool called mid-life crisis, where they discover a life raft called "the younger woman." Meanwhile, the woman takes inventory of the man she has vowed to change so many years ago, and she realizes that he's certainly not the man she married, but he is by far the man she had hoped him to become. It's a true set up. Why do we do this to ourselves?

The first thing that seems to come off after women get married is their beautiful long hair. The first thing to get put on is weight.

We all have seen the young and athletic couple before their wedding, the very one we run into at the mall a year later and think "holy crap, they've gained weight!" He proudly holds on to his love handles while blaming the wife's cooking.

What about us women though? We have enjoyed our own cooking for the most part of our lives, so why gain weight after we're married? More importantly, how do we get off the unnecessary weight, without falling into the endless downward spiral called "diet trap?

These 3 pointers may help any woman to stay or feel attractive and to feel beautiful about herself:

1.Keep your gym membership (if you don't have one, get one). As soon as children arrive, and perhaps even before then, the schedule changes and for many the first thing to get cut off the daily routine or the financial burden is a gym membership or exercise in general. We make excuses and say things like: "I just don't have the time anymore." "It's too expensive and I only go once or twice a week, I might as well cancel the membership and start working out at home." Warning: Working out at home takes more self-discipline than most people have. If you have to cut down on your finances, make your gym membership one of the last things you cut out of your budget.

2.Keep that long hair. Yes, one of the first things we chop off when we get married seems to be that long gracious long hair that takes oh-so much time every day. Yes, it's a lot of work. And I dare you to spend that extra 30 minutes a day to treat yourself nice by looking your very best with your beautiful long hair. Instead of seeing long hair as a burden, see it as a blessing and a money saver. Short hair costs a lot more in hair dresser fees than long hair does. You can use the money you save on a hair dresser on your gym membership.

3.Your body is your best friend - listen to it. Even Adam and Eve found a bond through a mere apple. To this day when we go out to eat we ask the person we're with: "What are you having?" Who cares what they're having! In some illogical twisted kind of way food is a great bonding experience between people (we can be so primal). Let's take that next step on this evolutionary ladder and start asking this question of our body instead: "What would you like today?" Listen to that voice instead and you'll find that your body works with you like a well-oiled machine that keeps you going healthy for decades to come.
