[D561]Doing Business With Government
by Francina Smit, Fra
Entire means: Whole, complete, sincere, hearty, in full strength.

Probity means: Uprightness, complete honesty, integrity, rectitude

Rectitude means: Honesty, uprightness, integrity, probity, correct

moral behavior

This gives us a good enough idea of what the word Integrity means according to the dictionaries. But what does it stand for? What do you make of it? To me it means a person with Integrity is someone you can trust wholeheartedly ? with anything. Someone you can rely on, count on. Someone who will do the ?right? thing in any situation not just when it suits them. Someone you can listen to and believe everything they say. An upright, complete, sincere, whole, hearty person with correct moral behavior.

Now if Integrity is such a basic character trait, why then is it so hard for some people (and seemingly more and more so!) to do Business with Integrity ? or anything for that matter?

Why does one encounter so many scams, schemes, hoaxes and downright lies out there? You get it offline as well but I think it is much more concentrated on the Internet. I simply can't understand why people cannot seem to make an honest buck and help the next person do the same thing. It won't cost you any more, it won't bankrupt you, or kill you or make you old before your time (I believe being dishonest will do that to you in the long run!)

Going online there are such a multitude of different offers and ideas and unless you spend hours and hours on research, you can and will be taken in by any number of scams and people out to take us much money from you as possible as often as they can, continuously! A sad, sad story. NO Integrity.

And even if you do research you may still be taken for a ride. It will help to eliminate the possibilities though if you dig deep enough and rather search for Legitimate Business Opportunities and not just grab the first one you see.

These things take time ? lots of time and it shouldn't matter if you intend to make this your future. Rather make sure now you join a Company with Integrity than be sorry in a few months that you didn't take more time to do the necessary research to find all the answers you need.

Fortunately there are still ?good? and trustworthy Companies and people out there. You just have to dig and keep digging until you find them. You'll know when. You'll listen to the Conference Calls, hear what they're all about. Is it all about money ? as much as possible and as fast as possible? Do they care about other people or is it just about me and money? Learn to listen. Really listen. You'll hear the Integrity and get that ?This Is It? feeling. And when you do, don't hesitate. Go for it, give it your all. It will come to you.

For many players, Monopoly is the first introduction to real estate. Players buy and sell property and they collect and pay rents. Players have fun playing the game. The players who have the most fun are the winners.

My question is: Are the lessons you learned playing Monopoly killing your capacity to make real money in your business? Monopoly teaches money myths that can keep you struggling with money in your business.

What are these Monopoly Money Myths? The first one is that money is limited. The game begins and ends with a fixed amount of money. The only difference between the beginning and the end of the game is the location of the money. At the beginning of the game, everyone has the same amount of money. At the end of the game, the winner has most of the money.

The critical point is that Monopoly is a zero sum game. No one MAKES money in Monopoly. This is not what happens in business. In business, you create a product or offer a service that actually MAKES more money. A zero sum business would be out of business before too long.

This is how it works. You create a product. The product costs you money to produce, market, and sell. If you sell the product for more than your costs, you make a profit. This profit is money that did not exist when you started the game.

In other words, you actually create money. You have not only added money to your bottom line, you have added more money to the money supply. This is the critical money difference between Monopoly and business. Profitable businesses make money. No one makes money in Monopoly.

Monopoly teaches players that money is a commodity in limited supply. Monopoly cannot teach the fundamental truth that the amount of available money is potentially unlimited because money is created in transactions. The more transactions occur, the more money is created.
