[D703]Drug And Alcohol Recovery
by Samul, Sam
Synergy Drug Rehab combines the most advanced new detox method with the best individualized recovery program available, at an unbelievable cost,
to provide you with a solid Jump Start Into Recovery. For once, Body/Mind/Spirit treatments are truly melded together. This is simply the most comfortable and effective Drug Rehab program available.

The traffic on Recovery Road is pretty heavy these days, and that's good. But a lot of people are getting lost or falling by the wayside, and that's not good.
Part of the problem is that there has been no real good road map to Recovery-something that could show people what to expect along the way. We've tried hard to take into account individual differences and reactions-the fact that although all are going in the same direction, the road isn't the same for every traveler.

Synergy Treatment has a unique approach to recovery. We believe that recovery from addictive disorders is a process of transformation in all areas of your life. We consider chemical dependency to be a physical, mental, social, and spiritual disease. In our program, we focus on "how to live life fully" by providing individual and group counseling, 12 step support, recreation, and much, much more. These are some of the key elements each client learns in our program: Anger Management, Accountability, Denial Management, Dreaming, Identifying Core Values, Credit Repair, Developing Goals, Relationship Building, Healthy Habit Building, and Securing Work.

About Synergy Treatment
People arrive at our alcohol treatment and drug rehab facility with a variety of backgrounds and experiences. We believe in helping those who reach out for help with drug or alcohol addiction to have a solid foundation in recovery before moving on to their own lives. We offer services in our six residential facilities. Our residential treatment program offers men and women the opportunity to live in a realistic family environment while learning to deal with life in healthy ways. Each person's treatment plan is designed and tailored to meet their goals. We stress individualized attention.

Why Choose Synergy Treatment
If someone you love is seeking relief from the pain of alcohol and drug addiction, we can help. During the administration of the amino acids, you'll relax in a comfortable residential home with 24-hour care, nutritious meals, cable and high-speed Internet access. As you become more alert, generally within just a few days, Synergy Drug Rehabilitation Center will bring our treatment team to you. You'll receive one-on-one counseling, educational materials and the benefit of group processing dependent upon your level of physical comfort and individual needs.
Synergy's Treatment Programs
Our counselors first help clients resolve hesitation to begin treatment. They then strengthen motivation to stop substance abuse by identifying a client's values, goals, beliefs and boundaries, and then build a plan for change that allows the client to live in conformity with their goals and values. Our counselors discuss how to cope with high-risk situations, guide clients through trial and error practice of learned strategies, modify strategies based on what is learned during practice and then develop a long-term sobriety plan for each individual client.
Specialized Treatment Programs

We offer programs specifically tailored to each individual’s needs and goals:
•Alcohol
•Cocaine
•Heroin/Oxycontin/Oxycodone
•Crystal Meth
•Christian/Faith-based
•Protected Identity/Paperless Treatment

The road to recovery
We want each client to succeed and will make recommendations that will help them reach their goals. We are invested in supporting each client to find their path to recovery. With our diverse clinical team we are able to support our residents whether they come with dual diagnoses, cross disorders, abuse issues, or other problems. Our 24-hour staff knows and understands this, and is ready to help at any time of the day or night. Our goal is to help each person who enters our doors walk the road to a healthy, happy and sober life.

Although some people are able to recover from alcoholism without help, the majority of alcoholics need assistance. With treatment and support, many individuals are able to stop drinking and rebuild their lives. Many people wonder why some individuals can use alcohol without problems but others cannot. One important reason has to do with genetics. Scientists have found that having an alcoholic family member makes it more likely that if you choose to drink you too may develop alcoholism.

Genes, however, are not the whole story. In fact, scientists now believe that certain factors in a person's environment influence whether a person with a genetic risk for alcoholism ever develops the disease. A person's risk for developing alcoholism can increase based on the person's environment, including where and how he or she lives; family, friends, and culture; peer pressure; and even how easy it is to get alcohol.

Alcohol abuse differs from alcoholism in that it does not include an extremely strong craving for alcohol, loss of control over drinking, or physical dependence. Alcohol abuse is defined as a pattern of drinking that result in one or more of the following situations within a 12-month period. They are failure to fulfill major work, school, or home responsibilities, drinking in situations that are physically dangerous, such as while driving a car or operating machinery, having recurring alcohol-related legal problems, such as being arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or for physically hurting someone while drunk and continued drinking despite having ongoing relationship problems that are caused or worsened by the drinking. Although alcohol abuse is basically different from alcoholism, many effects of alcohol abuse are also experienced by alcoholics.

Although alcoholism can be treated, a cure is not yet available. In other words, even if an alcoholic has been sober for a long time and has regained health, he or she remains susceptible to relapse and must continue to avoid all alcoholic beverages. "Cutting down" on drinking doesn't work; cutting out alcohol is necessary for a successful recovery.

However, even individuals who are determined to stay sober may suffer one or several "slips," or relapses, before achieving long-term sobriety. Relapses are very common and do not mean that a person has failed or cannot recover from alcoholism. Keep in mind, too, that every day that a recovering alcoholic has stayed sober prior to a relapse is extremely valuable time, both to the individual and to his or her family. If a relapse occurs, it is very important to try to stop drinking once again and to get whatever additional support you need to abstain from drinking.
