[T1052]To Stop Excessive Sweating
by Muna wa Wanjiru, Mun
Most drastically of course, surgery to stop yourself from sweating is one of the options taken by those who suffer from bouts of excessive sweating. These people are moved by burdens of emotional and mental stress in their everyday daily life to take such steps.

For the most part, you will also find that a person who resorts to this option is using it as a last resort, having first tried out just about everything they can find to cure themselves of their excessive sweating. In most cases however, they will find that most of the other methods available for sweat prevention do not work, or only work minimally.

Don't however, think that surgery is the only option for those suffering from excessive sweating. There are other methods and these involve strong medications which can inhibit sweat production by the body, or as is mostly the case, will lead to a lessening of sweat production. These medications should only be taken under medical supervision as some people can have adverse reactions to them.

Some people however, find themselves unwilling to use either of these options, and will prefer instead using holistic approaches to dealing with their excessive sweating problem. These methods encompass not only herbal remedies and treatments but also such remedies and treatments as acupuncture, ayurveda and homeopathy.

The choice is clearly up to the person who is suffering but it should perhaps be noted here that anyone seeking help for excessive sweating through the path of holistic medication and treatments, should do so under the guidance of a trained practitioner of that particular branch of healing.

You will also want to keep in mind that if you suffer from a medical or health condition other than that of excessive sweating, this needs to be mentioned before obtaining treatment for your excessive sweating. In this way only will you be able to gain the full benefits of whatever method you are using to treat your excessive sweating, be it conventional medication, surgery, or holistic medications and treatments.

A person who suffers from excessive sweating will also, in many cases experience mental and emotional upheaval as a result of the social stigma that can be attached with such a condition. To avoid this, or better yet to deal with these problems as well, you might want to think about seeing a therapist.

Other than that, you will find that as a person who suffers from excessive sweating, you might also have to take extra precautions and measures to ensure that you feel comfortable enough to step outside with your head held high. And in the end this is all you really want to do.

My face has always been prone to excess facial sweat and in hot weather or warm situations, the sweat just pours down my face in loads. People who suffer from head sweating can be depressed and embarrassed as compared to sufferers of other forms of sweating. Therefore it is important to understand what causes of excessive head sweating as well as the various types of treatment that are available for it.

For the simple reason that any other types of sweating problems can be more easily disguised, whereas head sweating (as in beads of sweat running down the face), is not so easy to cover up. Deodorants and even prescription deodorants sometimes can be very ineffective if you have a severe case of sweating. It's extremely frustrating to try to explain your problem to someone, only to hear them tell you to use of better deodorant. You know that's not the answer for you, but you don't know what to say.

I have even been so desperate that I have closed my eyes and sprayed my face with anti-perspirant and used unperfumed roll-ons as well, but to no avail. This put me off but I wasdetermined to find a way.

Doctors can prevent the causes, and the pituitary gland which controls it. They will measure the blood levels of hormones that are secreted by your thyroid gland, Information about the history of your symptoms will be necessary for a proper assessment to be made by your doctor or other medical professional.

Although one of the best ways to deal with a head sweating issue is to shower often, using certain shampoos can also become a cause of the excessive sweating. Ultimately it's not just an uncomfortable feeling that leads to itching of the scalp, but it can in some very cases lead to unhealthy hair.

For example, unless you have very short hair, it can become disadvantageous to your efforts to control your head sweating to have a head of wet and dripping hair. This can and will promote more sweat to form, in which case all the efforts you initially went to will become useless. Don't be put off! Some methods work for some people but not for others.

As soon as I started experiencing any of the symptoms or signs of an under active thyroid gland, including excessive sweating, you need to make sure to see a medical professional as soon as possible, so that they can properly assess and diagnose your condition, and recommended the proper effective treatment.

I would ask the doctor for a referral to a dermatologist. They can give you botox shots and other treatments that your doctor can't. But be warned they are not always effective, and are sometimes dangerous if used incorrectly.

Only in my dreams can I Imagine being able to wear whatever I want, whenever I want, no matter what time of day, and not having to worry if the color or the type of fabric or pattern would show your sweat.
