Whenever an industry like the work at home business opportunity industry that is taking off so quickly...everyone knows that is when the scammers start to come out to try and take advantage of anyone they can.

So if you are skeptical about MyInternetBusiness...good. You should be. Smart business opportunity seekers should always keep their eyes wide open and do their due diligence on any business opportunity they are looking into. Because... we all know that anything that looks too good to be true...is usually not true. The Bernard Madoff scam and so many similar copy cat scams have really made people cautious... and rightfully so.

So the question often comes up; "Is MyInternetBusiness, (otherwise known as My Internet Business or MIB), a scam?"

The short answer is no. It's not a scam. In April of 2008 a team of expert network marketers headed by Darren Gaudry launch My Internet Business. MIB is a legitimate online marketing company with offices in Michigan and Washington state. Since its launch, MIB has taken off like a rocket and has been the talk of the industry. Anytime a company experiences this kind of growth and stands above the crowd like MyInternetBusiness has, it's only natural for people to seek to discredit it. While MIB is not perfect, it is certainly not a scam.

Additionally, anytime you hear about people making the amazing amounts of money that many My Internet Business members seem to be making, you have got to raise an eye brow.

MyInternetBusiness is in the category of a high ticket direct sales online marketing opportunity. The companies' plan is to roll out six different phases of the company. MIB is currently in phase two. MyInternetBusiness is scheduled to launch phase 3.0 in March of 2009. The buzz over the internet is that it is going to put the competitors on their heels.

Currently the company offers three main product centers. Probably the most significant and coveted segment is MyInternetBusiness's massive online marketing training library. The MIB back office web site provides video, audio and written training on all aspects of free and paid online marketing.

Considering that approximately 97% of all people entering online marketing home based business opportunities these days have zero online marketing experience, anyone would have to conclude that this is a critical key to MIB's success.

It is also said that MIB offers possibly the largest online digital information product library anywhere on the internet. Team members are given the rights to use and resell these resources and products, and keep all of the profits from each sale. Is this truly the largest and best online digital library? It's hard to prove something like that but they do claim that there platinum level members' library is valued at $65,000. No small number indeed. Even though MIB offers the resale rights on the majority of these digital products, it does seem like most members focus on promoting the opportunity itself rather than promoting the digital products.

The third product category offered by MyInternetBusiness is membership to the My Internet Business Travel Club. It offers deep discounts on luxury resorts & condos around the world as well as discounts on cruises, airfare, hotels and more. Hemisphere Travel is the company who provides the travel to MyInternetBusiness. Hemisphere has been in business for over 25 years and works with thousands of organizations providing custom travel programs. Based on Hemisphere's 25 year track record and huge customer base, you would have to assume this is a legitimate service and offers significant value to its members. Hemisphere says some companies sell similar travel program for 2 and 3 times more than the entire price of MIB platinum level membership which sells for $2,995.

Now, how about all of those high incomes you hear about MIB members making. Are they true? While there is no way to substantiate these claims, it's easy to see how the numbers can quickly add up. MyIntenetBusiness offers some of the highest percentage pay-outs in the industry. Members can earn a full $2,000 on platinum sales and it's estimated that 73% of the sales are at the platinum level. And, unlike many of there competitors, MyInternetBusiness has no pass ups so there members start earning commissions from their very first sale.

Unlike many MLM companies in which it often takes years to generate a six figure income, a high ticket, direct sales business gives its members an opportunity to earn sizable incomes within relatively short periods of time. For example, with MIB, making only one sale per week, one is already at the 6-figure annual income level. However, it is important to note that not everyone succeeds in MIB. It does take work, effort, time and dedication to succeed. Having a positive, can-do attitude and the right mind set are key to succeeding in any business.
