With July and August often just too hot to truly enjoy a game of golf during the day, the course has introduced a twilight zone ticket - golf in the evening from a time that will allow a full round before dusk kicks in.
Located in Son Parc on the northern coast of Menorca, it's about 20km west of Mahon, 7km east of Fornells, and only 20 minutes from Menorca airport - wherever a golfer is on the island Son Park can be reached within a twenty to thirty minute drive.

Son Parc resort's golf course is a beautifully laid out, full 18-hole golf course. Originally starting out as a 9 hole golf course, it was extended to 14 holes five years ago. Work continued for the next three years, bringing the full 18 holes to completion in spring 2006. It was still another year before the turf was up to the required standard to open the full course to visitors. The full 18 hole course was officially opened in August 2006.
Designed by Dave Thomas, he is a former Ryder Cup player who has designed many of the top golf courses in the world. Some of his most famous creations include The Belfry course and San Roque on the Costa del Sol. Thomas' company has also redesigned the original nine holes at Son Parc to help bring all 18 holes to the same level of quality and design.
The developers of Son Parc golf course take great pride in their ability to maintain a level of environmental safety that others often overlook. They have replanted vegetation that naturally grows in Menorca and left many rocks in their original places. The irrigation system is run entirely from rain and treated water. No fresh water is used from water mains or wells for the irrigation of the golf course.
The Son Parc golf course features sand traps, beautiful greens, a lovely surrounding landscape, and a flock of peacocks that live just behind the third green. The peacock family is very accepting of humans and enjoys rewarding golfers with an extra show of colour from time to time. Their natural touch lends an air of exotic beauty to the already lush landscape.
The golf course is only one of the attractions that make Son Parc a must go travel destination for golfers. Outside the course are lovely white sand beaches and coves, perfect for a family gathering, private party or romantic getaway. The story follows Isabella Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) as she falls in love with Edward Cullen (Robert Patterson) who reveals himself to be a vampire. In this tale, vampires live in clans, and Edward reveals his clan does not hunt humans, only animals.
The primary conflict in the story comes from Bella's mission to keep Edward's true identity a secret from her family, friends, and class mates. Things get even more dangerous when another clan infiltrates the Cullen clan and set their sights on Bella. Their star crossed love affair becomes a race for survival as tensions mount and danger builds.
At present, no date has been set for the film's release, and it is still considered as only In Production. Many fans have been uneasy with the notion of the film's production and several of the casting decisions, but other fans have remained enthusiastic due to author Stephenie Meyer's enthusiasm about the project.
