Insulin inhalation has been widely accepted as a diabetic medicine revolution. Health Ministry of UAE has approved this form of diabetic medication by registering it.
Director of the Drug Control Department at MoH(Ministry Of Health) said that, Exubera, insulin's first inhaled form, has got the approval of the Higher Drugs Registration Committee at MoH.
Researchers say that the new insulin-inhaling device has been widely accepted by the diabetic patients. They are of the view that it will bring great relief to patients who cannot withstand injections.
Dr Mansouri said that it is expected that the inhaler will be launched in the local markets in the next six months. He further added that the marketing & promotion of the inhaler was the responsibility of the company.
