One of the best things about free e-cards is mainly that they are totally free, so wherever in the world that you are, no matter how far you send the e-card, it will always be free. So if you send the free e-card across the street, or across the world, it will always be the same price, free.

Free e-cards are also very eco friendly unlike their paper card counterparts. This is mainly due to the fact that no trees ever need to be cut down to make them. So this in turn helps with global warming, as trees are needed to turn carbon dioxide to oxygen. Also free e-cards are sent over the internet, traditional cards are sent by van, or plane, or any other type of transportation, most of which give of carbon dioxide and other gases.

National Coming Out Day is observed annually on October 11th to commemorate the personal bravery it takes to openly admit your sexual orientation. Though gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transsexuals (GLBT) are slowly becoming more accepted in society, the battle of equality and open-minded recognition for the gay community is still being ardently fought.

Part of the commemoration of National Coming Out Day is about sending a message to politicians and administrators about the need for publicly promoting the egalitarian treatment and political representation of all people, regardless of sexual orientation. The lawmakers in the United States must be aware and responsive to the issues most important to the GLBT community.

National Coming Out Day celebrates the necessity of being honest with yourself and the people around you about something as important as your sexuality. It is vital for people to feel that they mustn't hide something that has such a pronounced effect on who they are as an individual and to celebrate the impact, social and otherwise, of GLBT individuals on society as a whole. Coming out is a way of fulfilling the personal freedom that Americans enjoy.

It is crucial that sexual freedom is as integral to the basic rights granted us by the Constitution and Bill of Rights as the freedom of speech and religion. There are rallies, speeches, processions, and other gatherings organized around the country to bring attention to the GLBT constituency and make sure that their voices and those of their supporters are heard and acted upon.
