A new website selling nutritional and health supplements has been launched with the aim of becoming the largest online retailer specifically designed for the gay and lesbian community. Homo Supplements is aimed at anyone with an interest in health, fitness and sport and sells a range of supplements for every possible nutritional and fitness goal - from burning fat and getting into shape to building muscle size, increasing strength or enhancing sports performance. To celebrate the launch of the site, Homo Supplements is offering a flat 10% discount across its entire range of products. Furthermore, 5% of every first order placed will be donated to GMFA, the gay men's health charity. The Homo Supplements website stocks 2,000 different products in total with over 75 well-known brands represented. Products can be found by brand or by ?fitness goal?, such as muscle, fat loss, power, energy and health. All Homo Supplements products offer average savings, of up to 20% on high street retail prices and any orders placed over ?50 will receive free postage and packaging. Homo Supplements has been launched by Leeds entrepreneur Brad Murdoch who has received support and backing from Carl Hopkins, the businessman and marketing ?guru? who recently appeared on Channel 4's popular philanthropy series, The Secret Millionaire. Speaking about the website Murdoch says: ?Having spent a year working in the industry I realised that there was no specific nutritional website dedicated to the gay and lesbian community; a gap which I wanted to fill given the appreciation of grooming and looking good that many gay people have. ?I hope that Homo Supplements appeals to, and caters to the needs of any gay person that has an interest in looking after their bodies.? Carl adds: ?We have linked up with GMFA because we want to contribute towards a goal of long term good health within the gay community. ?Whenever you make a purchase from Homo Supplements to look after yourself, you are also taking care of other people.? Speaking of the partnership Matthew Hodson, Head of Programmes for GMFA says: ?Our mission is to improve gay men's health by increasing the control they have over their own lives. Homo Supplements with its focus on health is a great fit for us and we're thrilled that GMFA has been nominated as the official charity to receive donations from any first orders?. The 10% discount offer is applicable across the entire product range and is valid on the first purchase. Simply quote ?discountmm01?when placing your order online at .
When you are considering a new nutrition based health and fitness regime, think of running over the ground, rather than into it. A new Alexander technique teacher and running coach has created a new approach to running that doesn't jolt your system. Using the Alexander stress-reduction technique that is often associated with music training, can help people get into running and stay not only injury-free but perform faster, too. A close attention to our kinetic energy is what allows us to become aware of faulty movement patterns, bad posture, muscular tension and tightness. When we are aware of our health by this method, we are ready to absorb the goodness of nutritional supplements and vitamins(http://www.mitamins.com/).
Release your knees and ankles before you move
Injured runners are often told they need to improve their core stability, correct muscle imbalances, alter their running style and take all sorts of nutritional supplements and vitamins (or all of these) to avoid future problems. When people run, they tend to press on core muscles, anchoring the ribs against my spine, thus restricting breathing. Nutritional health(http://www.mitamins.com/) is one route out, but the other is by correcting your position. Vitamins, multivitamins(http://www.mitamins.com/) and extra nutritional supplements will keep you going when your body is flagging. But get your position right and you will have boundless energy to pursue your health goals.
Run with your whole body, not just your legs
This, in turn, makes people lift my sternum to open my chest and get more oxygen in, which increases the arch, and stress, in my lower back. The best thing to do is to just let go. Let your ribs relax, unclench your buttocks and untilt your pelvis. Your energy will flow right through to your feet this way. That is one of the funny things about the Alexander technique. It's often less about doing than not doing, which can be a tricky concept for runners - who tend to be natural end-gainers - to grasp. You need to catch up on vitamins and nutritional supplements if you are serious with your jogging practice.
