Graduates of this course learn how to administer cross-tissue massage, trigger-point massage, chair massage, classic Western massage, and sports massage, in addition to basic knowledge in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology.

Advanced training is provided through workshops and seminars, and includes short classes and certification courses in Ayurvedic massage, reflexology, yoga teacher training, Thai massage, hot stone massage, canine massage, deep tissue work, infant massage, prenatal massage, and many other specialized subjects of study.

Approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), the Connecticut Commissioner of Higher Education and the State of Connecticut, Bureau of Rehabilitation Services and Workers Compensation Commission, Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy is also accredited by the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA), and is approved to train veterans eligible for Veteran's Administration Educational benefits - among other honorable memberships.
