Most of us need home remedies for bronchitis some time in our lives. Bronchitis is usually caused by a viral infection, typically when the body has been weakened by a cold or flu. Just when we think we have gotten over an illness, bronchitis shows up in the form of chest congestion, a cough, yellow/green mucous, and a fever.
In Ayurveda, this is termed as kasa roga (casa roga). According to Ayurveda concepts, germs cause this disease. However, accumulation of phlegm in the digestive tract after indigestion is the primary reason for bronchitis.
Bronchitis is as a result of a viral or bacteria infection. Other causes of the condition include smoking and air pollution. When the disease is as a result of virus pathogens, the symptoms usually disappear on their own in a matter of days. The viral bronchitis infections are the most common ones. Bronchitis home remedy for a viral infection should aim at reducing the symptoms and making one more comfortable.
Remedies
1.Onions are good expectorants. Lemons also help in getting rid of bacterial & mucus from respiratory system. Grid one teaspoon lemon and add it to one cup of boiling water, steep for five minutes the strain and drink. Water helps liquify more mucus making it easy to cough out.One can use water from a steam treatment.
2.Wrap a towel around your head and inhale the fumes from a pot or a sink filled with hot, steaming water. Maintain a small distance between the hot pot or sink so that you don't get burnt.
3.Eat alkaline foods. Fruit juices of all kinds, especially pineapple, lemon, orange, and grape fruit are best, as they help to loosen and cut the phlegm.
4.The first thing to do is to make sure you are properly hydrated. Adults should be drinking on average eight eight-ounce glasses of pure water every day. Tap water is not recommended for optimum health and longevity! You can add sliced lemon to the water when you have bronchitis symptoms.
5.One more successful remedy for bronchitis is a mixture consisting of half a teaspoon each of the powder of ginger, pepper, and cloves, thrice a day. It may be licked with honey or taken as a mixture with tea. The mixture of these three elements has also antipyretic characters and is helpful in reducing fever associated bronchitis. It also boost up the metabolism of the patient.
6.You should also take care of your food and diet. Include a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables in your daily diet. Avoid smoking, alcohol and other addictives. Canned foods items are also best avoided. Easy to digest food items should form the main meals.
7.The bronchitis home remedy used together with a doctor's prescription can work for or against the disease. It is therefore advised to get all the proper information on a particular remedy. Some people react differently to bronchitis home remedies. If you notice side effects of the remedy, its use should be stopped immediately.
The fungal infection causing Dandruff is known as Malassezia. Rinse your head with vinegar water again in the morning. If you continue to treat your hair with it for few months, it will serve your purpose.
2.The best place of buy coconut oil is at any natural or health food store like GNC. Apply the coconut oil to the scalp and scrub away the dead skin with a brush or fingernails. Next, either hold your head under a faucet of hot water or in the shower under hot water for fifteen minutes. You will have immediate results that will last up to six months or a year.
3.Mix a two-to-one ratio of apple cider vinegar and warm water (two vinegar to one water). If you want to cleanse and condition your scalp further and add a fragrance to your hair then you can always a couple of drops of essential oils such as lavender or rosemary - both excellent for getting rid of itchy scalps and dandruff. (Always patch test oils for allergies, and always consult your doctor if you are pregnant).
4.Application of egg after shampooing is known to be an effective conditioner and helps reduce dandruff.
5.Boil five teaspoons of dried used tea leaves in lime water and use it as a last rinse after shampoo. It will give the hair a lustrous shine and provides nourishment too.
6.A hair wash with vinegar is also a useful remedy for dandruff. Mix 2 teaspoons of vinegar with 6 teaspoons of water, and apply it on your scalp before going to bed. Apply the same solution in the morning before washing it off. Do not scratch your scalp with your fingernails as it could cause an infection.
7.Combine one tablespoon glycerin, one tablespoon vinegar, one tablespoon coconut oil, and one egg. Mix until the materials form a paste. Put this mixture on your scalp and let it stay for about one hour. Then wash your hair using a shampoo. Do this once each week.
8.Rosemary, Sage, Thyme or Neem - Make a strong tea-like solution from either Rosemary, Sage, Thyme or Neem leaves by adding the leaves to boiling water and leaving to brew for 24 hours. Strain and pour water over just-washed hair and leave in.
