[N99]Naughty And Nice List
by Jim Brown, Jim
Beautifully decorated houses, jolly people and not to mention, kids are one of the most delightful sights during Christmas season. In a lot of ways, they could be the reason why we celebrate Christmas. They have the most precious looks on their faces every time they sneak out on Christmas' Eve just to take a peek on what's under the tree. That simple expression could make anyone's heart melt. Imagine, not even thousands of dollars or a few bucks just to buy a child's first bicycle could ever have a worth more than those faces. There you have a walking, breathing and living Christmas gift from up above.

So have you thought of something to put into those boxes, yet? You really don't have to think much about that. Even if you just have a couple of bucks, you can still see the kid's delighted facial expression. And to help you work on your cash on hand here is a list of some wonderful gift ides for the little ones.

Cars

Four-wheeled toys are a common Christmas present for the boys. You can choose from a lot of options. Little wind-up toy cars are fun but they can also be boring in due time. You may also go for a remote controlled one. Just make sure that the batteries are well-hidden. Batteries are dangerous, especially for kids between the ages one to four years old who practically put anything into their mouth. If you have lots of dough, get a huge toy car wherein a child could go in and drive around the yard. The only precaution here is to make sure that there are no huge vases or any breakable stuff around the kid's driveway which could also mean around the house. This is to avoid injury and damages. Don't forget to choose bright colored toy cars for buys between one to five years old. Then for children five years and up, you can choose toy cars with metallic stickers.

Robots

Robots are fun alternatives since they are something new. Older versions are those whose arms can be twisted and turned and whose body can be transformed into a car or something just by twisting and folding some parts. Newer and sometimes more expensive ones can talk or walk. They can be controlled using a remote controller or voice-command. Robots are great for boys at any age. Just make sure that there are no little removable parts that a child might put into his mouth. Once again, hide the batteries.

Blocks

There are certain kinds of blocks which are attachable or detachable to one another. These blocks can help develop a child's imagination. Again, little parts are not good for little children.

Clothes

Now these are the kind of gifts that will make any parent happy and happiest if you get the correct size and measurements. You can go for any type of clothing. Just check to see that there are no sharp objects or embellishments sewn onto the clothing to avoid cuts.

Dolls

Though there are guy dolls available in the market, it is still not advisable to give a boy one. Girls will always love dolls even if she reaches fifty. You can start giving one this year and continue until she already has a collection. A doll collection over the years is priceless.

Pillows

Pillows, especially ones with cartoon character pillow cases make very adorable presents. Don't go overboard and get ones that are covered in fur or any hairy stuff for that matter. Check if the child has allergies or asthma before you make your mind up.

Pretend-kits

Children between three to eight years old love to play pretend. You can help them choose a career by giving them a doctor's toy set or cooking toy set. This gift idea is best if the child has a brother or sister.
