Microsoft has to be in every field. Taking a lead from the success of Sony's PlayStation game console, the company came out with the Xbox 360. However this is the successor to their original Xbox. Actually, the Xbox 360 is among the most important products for Microsoft and the company is heavily depending on it to rope in the revenues. Considering the build up and the publicity it has received, the XBox 360 is likely to make the consumers at least try it. It better be because Microsoft has invested millions of dollars into making them the leading company in this sector.

The XBox 360 has however not been released as yet all over the world. It was released in the US and Canada only last November and in Europe and Japan early December. And the Xbox 360 is yet to be released in many Asian countries like South Korea, Hong Kong and in Singapore. It is going to be sold everywhere as Xbox 360 and the Xbox 360 Core System. The only exception to this is Japan.
