I got started in NWM back in 1992 with the old "breakaway plans", "sit across the table presentations" and "weekly hotel meetings where all the same people showed up" ways of building a business. Things have changed so much, mostly because of the very tool you are looking at right now, the internet. All of the old "rules" have changed because of this. The aforementioned "ways" are still in use and probably always will be but not by those who want to go "BIG". One of my alltime favorite sayings is "Go Big or Go Home" and that is what the information superhighway will now allow you to do. GO BIG!!
The one thing that has not changed is the fact that NWM is about a system, a system that anyone with an ounce of desire and passion can plug into and succeed. There is nothing worse than having hopes and dreams and a vehicle but not knowing what to do. A good system will give you a track to run on and the simpler the system is the more duplicatable it is and therefore the more successful it will be.
The internet has allowed us to be able to use "flash presentations" instead of "one on ones", "2-5 legged" plans instead of "breakaways" and "webcasts" instead of "hotel meetings" making NWM a true homed based business. This, my friends, is only the tip of the iceberg of what is going to come and what is already here.
I now work a Simple "Money" System that anyone with a computer can do. I believe it is NWM at its very best and when everyone else "gets it" the economies of the world will change like never before. This system is really no secret, I have pretty much described it in this article, but having a mentor or sponsor to show you all the intricasies of the "new way" (there is a lot more to it) is the key to cutting the learning curve.
Nothing happens in any field of endeavor without the proper motivation and desire. If you feel you have this then all you need do is take action. Action, whether right or wrong, is what cures all woes. More money is lost with indecision than will ever be lost with bad decision. Make a decision to join the "new" NWM and get the help you need. You will never be sorry!

I can't even count the new Network Marketing companies I encounter everyday. Most people don't have time to do ample research on these companies and jump in blind and stand to lose their shirts. Others are being faced with old school methods and strategies (i.e. cold calling, harassing friends buying expensive leads)to market these businesses that lack effectiveness and efficiency. If your ultimate goal is to fire your boss (I remember when that happened for me eight years ago like it was yesterday) and design your own lifestyle, you must take a close look at any new Network Marketing g Companies and their use of the internet. I can tell you this without fail, without a substantial online presence, success is possible but much more difficult. Don;t put your self in a place where you are swimming upstream. The entire world is either online or on their way. Since you are interviewing new Network Marketing Companies you should be aware that demand and legitimacy should be high on the list, however, don't discount profitability. As a matter of fact, do your due diligence to determine exactly what its going to take to replace your current income (if that's your goal) before you even start. After seventeen years in the industry, I have seen many compensation plans, matrices, products and services and the marketplace has changed drastically. Now twenty year old internet whiz kids are making five and six figure monthly incomes using the internet and they are literally taking over the industry in droves. Now as far as the internet and new Network Marketing companies, I believe there are some companies that have streamlined their sales and marketing processes specifically for the internet savvy distributor and consumer. These are the companies you want to look long and hard at because they are the ones that can take you to the top in record time. On the other hand, certain companies don't allow the use of the internet to promote any of their products or services. With technology at your fingertips, you cannot afford to forgo the leverage and power the internet provides while building your business. Especially when you're working your business part time you need to harness all the leverage you can get. Some other new Network Marketing companies will allow internet promotion, however, their presentations are still not geared and aligned with the internet for a real turnkey online business solution. No one has time to create new media and presentations for a company that hasn't fully embraced the internet so you may want to pass on these as well. In a perfect world, you are looking for a legitimate, high demand product or service that already has an turnkey internet marketing component created by the company so you can quickly promote online and start earning commissions out the gate.
