[B81]Bad Company All Right Now
by Joel Bellevue, Joe
If you were to take a survey asking the general public their opinions on network marketing you would get responses that range from:

"Network Marketing is pyramid scheme created to take money from the little people"

"To be a successful Network Marketer you have to cram the product your selling down the throats of every friend and family member that you have"

"MLM companies are only get rich quick gimmicks"

If you have been in or around network marketing I am pretty sure you have heard similar comments being made, but the truth is Network Marketing is an incredible opportunity.

In fact Robertk Kyosaki says it best "Simply put, a network marketing business, with it's low cost of entry and great training programs, is an idea whose time has come."~Rich Dad, The Business School, 2nd Edition.

Now that we know Network Marketing is a great tool in obtaining financial freedom, what are some of the things you should look at before picking a company to work with?

1) History of The Company

Research your company to find out how long it has been in business. There are hundreds of start up companies that pop of year after year, but rarely make it past their 3rd year.

Stick with a company that has been around for a while, and has a reputation already built. Make sure they pay on time, and don't have any product defects.

2)Does the company have a product or service that you honestly enjoy or think is useful to others? I dont care how great the compensation plan is, if you promoting a product/service that you have no interest in,

it shows whenever you have to speak about. Pick a company that you can be proud of, and that would make you feel great knowing others are spending their hard earned money on.

3)Price and compensation plan

Choose a company that is charging a fair price for their product or service, and that will pay you accordingly for being a distributor. There are several different types of compensation plans. Review each companies

compensation requirement so you have an understanding of their pay plan.

4)Strength of your Upline

Many times this last step is overlooked, but having a strong upline is a must. Before signing with any company make sure your upline is knowledgeable in all forms of marketing, especially Internet Marketing.

Ask your upline to show you different ways they have gained new leads, and how they will help you if you do sign with them. You only go as far as your team goes, so make sure you are part of one

that knows what they are doing.

In summary, do your homework. There are are quite a few bad companies as well as great opportunities. Before you spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars investing in your business, make sure you invest your time first, and feel confident with your new company.

Best wishes,

Joel Bellevue

One thing that is consistent in the business world is that a lot of deals are made out on the golf course. People make business associates, talk about business, and play golf together in the business world. So it stands to reason that golf accessories are a good choice when it comes to promotional items.

If you have business associates that you play with on a regular basis, why not offer them promotional golf accessories as a business gift? If you have a long business relationship, they are going to appreciate it, as it will remind them of all the great times that you had on the golf course together.

Branded golf accessories are also a good item to give your employees that you know play golf. Even if you aren't there at the golf game with them, they are going take your branded golf accessories along with them and when they play, your company name will get be getting decent exposure without you actually being there.

Some of the more popular promotional golf accessories are:

Golf gloves
Golf tees
Golf umbrellas

And don't forget – golf is not just a man's game. Plenty of women play golf as well, so don't forget about them when you are making a list of people that you want to give branded golf accessories too.

Promotional golf accessories are a great choice to take with you to conferences and expos as well. When you give away some branded golf tees or branded umbrellas to people you haven't met, give them a business card to go along with their promotional gift. You may find that you are going to be adding to your list of contacts and clients quickly just by handing out branded golf accessories. You never know who may be at a conference or a business expo, or what your small promotional gift may lead to.

One thing that businessmen and women like is to be reminded of the fun that they have in life. Even though golf is often thought of as a business game, it still is something fun that can be done with other business people. If someone plays a lot of golf, you will never know how much exposure your promotional accessories are going to receive.

Promotional golf accessories do a lot of good for a company:

Give it exposure in a non threatening atmosphere
Help people remember the fun times had on the golf course
Remind people to take time out for a little fun each day

Remember, not every big business deal is made on the telephone or in the office. There have been a lot of business deals that were made on the verdant greens of the golf course. And what better way to reach avid golfers and business associates than to offer them promotional golf accessories?

They will continue to make their business deals and continue to play their games of golf. The only difference is that each time they do, they will have a small, subtle reminder of your company name and your products.
