However, Garrison found the line between the series and his real life blurred when he was arrested back in December 2006. During his hearing, the actor pleaded guilty to the charges and was subsequently hauled off for detainment in the California Institute for Men found in Chino, CA. During his stay there, he was ordered by the court to undergo a period of psychological evaluation over the course of roughly three months. By now he has served his time during the 90-day period, and will soon be handed down a final sentence for his actions. This was explained in a press release by spokeswoman Terry Thornton, who works for California's Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. She stated that Garrison had finished his ordained period of diagnostic commitment, and had been given over to Los Angeles County authorities.
During the time of the tragic car crash last year, the actor had also been found to test positive for cocaine, along with a blood alcohol level exceeding 0.15. Aside from the death of the 17-year-old and the damage done to the Land Rover that Garrison was driving, two other 15-year-old girls were likewise injured. If the actor is convicted, he faces up to more than half a decade in the slammer. While awaiting his sentencing on October 31 and his final fate, he is being held for now in the Twin Towers jail of Los Angeles.
