PARKS ARE FOR KIDS, YARDS ARE FOR DOGS, AREN'T THEY?
In the past, that was a common belief. In TODAY's society, dogs (like children) are family members. They go to the groomer (aka hair salon), they wear costumes and celebrate holidays, they have birthday parties, they go to daycare (often riding school buses to get there), and pet stores (and pet superstores!) sell special items specifically for them (homemade pet treats, special dog beds, "doggie colognes," dog breath mints, dog sweaters, etc.).Based on and around Black Hole X, these three teenagers and their mascots-the two, blue Astromites-tool around the galaxy on space scooters, preserving it from evil.
Pets? Avatars? What's the difference?
Pet dogs are objects that are scripted to follow you around and do tricks. Avatars are more like costumes that you wear in Second Life that turns YOU into a dog. As a dog avatar, you walk on all fours and can perform tricks and animations yourself.There is nothing wrong. The pet dogs currently do not have animated parts. When they follow you, the simply glide over the ground. We will hopefully build animated pet dogs in the future, but it is infinitely more complex than the non-animated ones we sell now.
What photos are accepted?
Just about any picture that has your pet in it. Ex. Pets with their pet owners, funny situations, pets in costumes, etc. Also any animal(s) that is your pet. Pictures are inappropriate for this site if they contain nudity, celebrities, jokes, URLs, or if the picture is not of an animal/person.In the past, that was a common belief. Is serologic testing useful to evaluate immunity to some diseases?
Theoretically, tests that measure antibody response (i.e., serologic titers) may help veterinarians determine the need for revaccination in some cases. Unfortunately, veterinarians cannot be certain that a specific concentration of antibody is always protective or that a lower concentration leaves an animal unprotected.
