[P584]Ppt On Time Management
by Keith, Kei
According to the greatest of the great in the online game of making money, ?Money to be Made Online? is an asset to anyone's business. But what use is a hole bunch of useful information if you don't have the time to apply it to your business? That's exactly why you need to learn how to not only make money online with ?Money to be Made Online?, but you need to know how to save time, so you have enough of it to apply the secrets, the techniques, and tricks raved about by gurus far and wide.

Ever want to get something done but feel pressured for time? Ever want to spend more time with your kids, your girlfriend or boyfriend, but don't have the time? ?Money to be Made Online? can help save time and money! Time management skills are very important! Especially if you're in the small business field, you are our own boss. If you were a customer of a restaurant, and your food was served two days later, you wouldn't be so happy would you? That's what happens when a customer is waiting for an order and you don't have time to ship their product, they are not satisfied.

The first step to time management is realizing that its not all its cracked up to be. There are two myths to tackle here. One is that time management will solve your problems. Wrong, time managed and applied to the correct practices will solve all your problems. Secondly there are only 24 hours in a day! No matter how well you manage your time, you can only fit 24 hours into one day.

Next you should find out how much time is spent on daily activities. Write down what you do every single day for one week. At the end of the week make a few lists. One list should contain things that are essential. Showering, eating, working out, and work for example. The other list should contain the things that are repeated every single day or many times throughout the week. Look at the things you can do without, and eliminate them! I like to call them time killers. If you have time to kill, kill it by doing something productive. Successful people workout, socialize and expand their network, or read when they have free time.

After successfully tracking where your time is spent, learn how to create goals for time management. Set specific goals on how to eliminate the time killers. For example, I used to play a lot of video games instead of do homework while I was in high school. I thought it was no big deal until I wrote everything down on paper and saw the huge amount of time wasted on playing games when instead I could be educating myself. I made a specific goal. ?I will not play video games until all my homework, plus all extra credit assignments are complete.?

Following your tracking of time spent, and goal creation, you need to create a schedule. Imagine your time is money and you need to invest it. Like investment, you refer to a budget, which is your schedule. This is currently what my schedule looks like: Wake up, Workout, Shower, Breakfast, Check email, Work, Lunch, Work, Dinner, Work, Sleep. I like to work a lot, and most of it is online. My actually schedule is much more detailed, but that's the gist of it. After I outline my schedule, I create sub points, and define specific times for each point. When creating long time goals split the project up into deadlines and work a specific amount of time into each day.

Prioritize your goals by creating your schedule, then attributing a value of importance to each one. Try to fit in the most important goals first, and then if you have free time do the rest. If you don't have time try to outsource our work, there are online services for professionals that are waiting to do your work. You can also ask a friend for a favor, that's why networking is so good. Don't waste time waiting for other people either, always have something to do. I get work done everywhere I go.

Either I'm networking, being productive, or working. With ?Money to be Made Online? I also increased my income while I saved time. I hope you can accomplish the same types of success! Until next time, I hope to see you in the lands of success and happiness.

Are you usually the last one to leave your office every night? Do you have trouble managing projects? This article is designed to provide you with some time management tips that will guarantee you'll never have to stay late at work again. Specifics may vary from person to person; however, the following information includes helpful and important guidelines from which everyone can benefit.

Not many people enjoy having to stay beyond the usual quitting time in the office and you probably feel the same way. Of course, occasionally you cannot avoid working late. Yet, a good majority of reasons for a late stay involve poor planning. We're sure if you think about it you can come up with dozens of strategies to steer clear of working beyond your usual quitting time.

Here are 9 time management tips that will help you leave the office on time:

Time Management Tip #1: Keep your working area in order.
You might be amazed how a messy desk can be so distracting that it can cause you to waste many minutes, perhaps an hour or more each day, looking for stuff.

Time Management Tip #2: Write things down at the beginning of your day, or the night before. Regular readers of this newsletter have heard this suggestion from us before. Having a plan of attack for the day can do wonders in keeping you on schedule.

Time Management Tip #3: Minimize phone calls at 4:55.
We're not suggesting that you do not answer your phone (your boss probably wouldn't appreciate that). But be aware of a conversation that might last well beyond your scheduled departure time, and if possible, ask if you can continue the call in the morning when your mind is fresh.

Time Management Tip #4: Begin meetings earlier.
If you have the authority to schedule meetings, try not to set one up any time after 4 pm because odds are the meeting may go on well past 5 pm.

Time Management Tip #5: Speak up.
As mentioned above, sometimes working late can be unavoidable. However, that does not imply that you should feel obligated to work late all the time. If you have to be home at a certain time for your family, say so.

Time Management Tip #6: Prepare to leave.
Things like backing up your computer files for the day are included as part of the job. There's no reason why you can't perform such tasks at 4:50 rather than at 5:00.

Time Management Tip #7: Beware of the talky late-day visitor.
You know who were referring to: the co-worker who shuttles over to your workspace and engages you in a conversation that becomes a 1/2-hour distraction, keeping you away from your work and causing you to stay late so you can finish.

Time Management Tip #8: Keep yourself out of the "I must catch up" trap.
Admit it; you never really do catch up fully with all the work you have to do. And staying late probably won't change that. Remind yourself, the work will be there tomorrow.

Time Management Tip #9: Be true to yourself. You may often feel the urge to take on more work than any human being can handle, maybe as a way of impressing your boss. Working hard and striving for promotions is great. But think about it, does your boss really expect you to handle more than you can all the time and stay well past 5 pm each and every evening? If so, you might consider speaking with him or her about their stance on quality of work vs. quantity of work.
