What we didn't count on was the fact that some of our furniture was too large for the rooms in our new home. After calling the sellers, we went to their house and purchased the wall unit which fit perfectly in our bedroom. With all the space, we were really thrilled! It cost a fraction of the price for brand new furniture and yet it looked just like new. Since we had made money on our old bedroom outfit, we actually ended up making a profit.

Now we had the bedroom all furnished with items that fit perfectly and our mortgage payment had not been affected. What we had thought would be an exhausting and expensive search had actually been quite easy and inexpensive.

Next, we had to start on the challenge of furnishing our living room with pieces that would fit and look nice. One really comfortable recliner chair we had purchased just before the move did fit in our new living room. We decided to keep that chair and find a couch that would match it.

After visiting several local furniture stores, we realized that couches to match our chair were more expensive than we could afford. Spending a thousand dollars on a couch just would not fit in our current budget. Those that we found at discount stores were so poorly built that we decided to check back with our newly found online site.

After putting a picture of our recliner on the free classified site, we waited to hear the phone ring. Within a few days, we were contacted by someone with a couch that matched our chair. The price was right, so we picked it up and found that our living room looked perfect. Thanks to the modern technological age, shopping can be fun and easy.
