[P461]Play All The Right Type
by Michael Russell, Mic
Today's foundations have come a long way and most are packed with added benefits such as vitamins, moisturizers and sun protection. But how do you know what type of foundation is best for you?

To find the right kind of foundation that best suits your skin, always remember to note your skin type and its needs (sun protection, coverage for fine lines, moisture, etc.). Then test a bit of the product you intend to purchase by dabbing a small amount on your jawline. Check this dab under natural light and see if it blends with the rest of your face. Also, take note of the expiration date, as many foundations cease to work efficiently two years after they've been opened.

Below are the common forms of foundation to help you make the right choice.

Sheer foundation is a popular choice for day use because it allows your natural skin color to shine through and provides the lightest coverage. People who live in warm climates choose sheer foundations for their non-sticky feel and easy wearability. If you already have great skin or if you are in your teens, this is the best foundation choice for you.

Liquid foundation, depending on the formula, can produce a range of looks. Many women usually choose liquid foundation because it is easy to apply and is highly wearable for hours on end. There are many enriched liquid foundations on the market now that provide vitamins, sunscreen and moisturizer for your face as well.

Compact foundations come in powder form but feels and looks like liquid foundation once used on the skin. This is a top choice for women who don't have much time for makeup because it achieves a smooth look while being handy enough to carry around for touch-ups. You can also control the foundation's degree of heaviness because you can customize the amount of powder on your face to get the desired coverage. For a sheer daytime look, compact foundations are best applied with a dry sponge; for a dramatic nighttime look, use the foundation with a wet sponge.

Matte foundation gives skin a flat, no-shine look that's perfect for nights out. It works for all skin types. Illuminating foundation is the opposite of matte foundation. This gives light coverage and adds a subtle glow to the face. Illuminants are usually made with shiny mineral bits, oils, or pearl powder for a shimmery effect.

Tinted moisturizers give a healthy glow to the skin and provide light coverage. They are primarily colored moisturizers and work like liquid foundation. Most tinted moisturizers have sun protection and are best worn during the day. Stick foundation combine foundation with concealer. They are easy to use and great for touch-ups. Because it's heavier than powder and are usually sticky, it can be a little difficult to apply and blend.

Primers are "foundation before foundation". These are colorless products applied to the face to better prepare it for liquid foundation. When worn alone, it minimizes pores and evens out skin tone. These are used by many top makeup artists to achieve a very flawless look.

Cream/Crèème foundations are not exactly the choice because they can be too thick and heavy under natural light. These foundations are typically used by celebrities and TV personalities who need to work under intense light. Cream foundations usually need an expert hand to achieve the "flawless" look, but there are lighter variants on the market that can be used for daily wear. This is best suited for people with dry or combination skin because as it has moisturizers as well.

There are many choices from which you can choose from when it comes to baby beddings. And when it comes down to it, it gets very confusing – after seeing all the choices available, in the long run, you get confused on which one to get. But there should be a right type for everything and every item you will have to place near your baby. A guide would be pretty helpful right now and luckily – that is what this article is! So sit back and just read through these tips in order to find that right type of bedding for your baby.

Choosing the right baby bedding can be very tricky and with a lot of existing choices available, it gets more difficult. But there are a number of factors that you have to remember in order to choose the right and best kind.

One word, comfort. Your baby is just like you and needs his or her every minute of sleep. Just like you whose mattress or bed cushions are soft and relaxing, the bedding that suits your baby best should be one that gives him or her utmost comfort. You have to be very careful as your baby cannot tell you how he or she feels. You might find your baby crying and have no idea that it is because the bedding is uncomfortable.

Second, the material. It is very important that you find the best material. This can spell comfort and rest or danger and illness. Find a material that is sturdy and can withstand a lot of washing. It is important to find a bedding that is just right – neither heavy nor light. Some materials are too heavy, some too light that it does not stay in place and gets easily wrinkled and very hard to manage. Some materials thin out in time, others thread out, others are easy to accumulate dust and may cause allergies and other skin irritations to your baby. Find a smooth and easy material that will not fall out easily to ensure comfort and safety.

Third, maintenance. Your baby's baby bedding will not stay clean for very long, that is sure. Milk, drool, baby vomit and pee will be all over it in no time and washing it from time to time will be something that you have to do. Find a machine washable bedding and one that dries fast too if you do not have a dryer. You also have to be sure that the bedding is sturdy and will not fall out in one wash; it may be tricky to find the right one but it's out there.

With these three points to remember – you will be sure to land yourself that great baby bedding. Don't rush, finding the best one for your baby will take some time, just remember these three very important points and you will find it. So there, best of luck!

This article is all about the care for your baby and what is the best kind of bedding for him/her.
