[S648]So You Want To Start A Nursery
by Robert Farey, Rob

What kind of business?

Where do you start?

What do you intend to do?

Do you have a product that you would like to sell?

Or do you have a service to provide?

What experience do you have?

These are just the basic questions you must ask yourself before you even think about starting a business.

The vast majority of web businesses are started by people who have no business experience whatsoever. They are under the impression that all that you have to do is to set up a website, put a couple of adverts in a few ezines then sit back and wait for the money to start pouring in.

Life is never that easy.

This brings us to the question, "How do you start a business using the Internet?" which can be answered in a number of ways. All of them are quite legitimate. Ask a dozen successful internet entrepreneurs how they got started and you will probably get a dozen different answers.

This does not mean that if they were starting from scratch right now that they would follow the same path. They all have learned from the mistakes they made on the way up.

I know that I have.

How would they do it now? Remember that the Internet is constantly changing. What worked a couple of years ago is not necessarily the best way to go now.

How would I do it?

To get the money coming in as quickly as possible, building a website would have to wait. The first thing is to have something to sell.

Ideally, something that can be delivered electronically. Something like an instruction book.

There are hundreds of sites that will sell you the rights to one or more of their existing stock of books. You can then sell an ebook as often as you can and keep all of the profits.

How do you sell it?

You need a system that allows your customers to download your book. You will also need a method of collecting the money.

You will then need a method of collecting the email addresses of your customers so that you can make them a further offer at a later date.

If you are new to the internet, this will require a certain amount of expertise.

There is an alternative way of doing it. Sign up to an affiliate program, the owners of the program will do all that is necessary regarding the downloading and seeing that you get your just rewards. All you have to do is to sell it.

The best affiliate programs come with a lot of backup with hints and tips on how to promote and sell their product.

You must realise that if you don't make money, neither do they.

The downside is that you don't get the full value of the product.

You will be working on a commission basis, somewhere in the region of fifty percent of the actual price.

Whilst you are getting experience in the selling side of the business you should be studying the other aspects too i.e. downloading, collecting the money and capturing email addresses.

Don't be too eager to branch out on your own. Walk, don't run.

There are thousands of people who are making more than a good living using nothing more than affiliate programs. They don't do it with just one program. Once they have one up and running, they start another and another.

That is when the website comes into it's own. If you set up all of the programs on a website, you only need one advert to cover all of them.

This saves a lot of hard work, but if you can do it, advertising each one individually will, in the long term, bring in a much better response.

Think about it. Some of the top business people have little technical knowledge. They let the experts do the ground work and concentrate on the business side of things. They concentrate on what they do best.

Running any business is a learning experience. You must be constantly learning just to stay in business. Learning better ways of doing things.Learning from other peoples mistakes. Trying not to make too many of your own.

Don't let this put you off. Learning can be fun. It's just a state of mind.

I didn't start until I was nearly seventy years of age. I did it. So can you.

Once you start to believe you can do it, You can.

Have a great time. Bob....

Starting a weight training program requires consistency and commitment to the program and to you. Without even looking at what program you want to include in your daily life first begins with somewhat of a creed and firm belief within yourself that you really want to do this and you really want to get results. Because without a firm commitment to yourself knowing that absolutely you want to do this program you will start and finish before you know it. There are a lot of people who have New Year's resolutions that start off strong at the beginning of the year but by June they are all but non-existent in the gym. What happened? No commitment is exactly what happened and that's the point I want to make I this article to insure that you understand that commitment is one of the most important parts of a weight training program.

So what exactly is your goal for a weight training program? You want to lose weight? You want to gain weight? You want to be stronger? You want to maintain tone? You see there are so many reasons for so many people that you really have to just think about and write down the reason why you want to subject yourself to a weight training program routine.

Well now that you do have yourself figured out, you have to realize that a weight training program is broken down into categories. Basically the categories are diet, training and rest. Let's take these subjects one at a time. Depending on your goal either losing weight or gaining weight a diet determines how much food you should take on a daily basis. I know that sounds like an understatement but it's so true. Your diet is so crucial and can affect the results that you really want to happen that you must take heed on the number of calories that you consume on a daily basis. If you want to lose weight and you consume more calories that the program calls for, you just won't lose the weight. On the other end of the spectrum, if you want to gain weight and your diet calls for an amount of calories to be consumed and you don't follow the guidelines, you won't gain weight. So following a diet plan is 1 part of 3 that must be followed in order to get the results that you want.

Selecting a training program. This is a big decision. There are so many training programs to choose from you really have to take your time evaluating what they have to offer. This is where being focused and knowing what you want really helps out identifying the exact training program that you feel comfortable with. There are online training programs and offline training programs. There are training programs that utilizes a home gym setup or programs that utilize every piece of machinery at your local gym club. Your choice, your tempo.

Now speaking of tempo, there are generally two schools of thought that prevail in weight training. These broad based categories are broken up into high intensity training and the other is per iodization. Periodization is just a fancy word that means breaking up your training period into cycles. Again, depending on your goals, you create a training schedule that is varied and that you don't experience burnout for any reason whatsoever. Having a variety of workouts with different intensity levels is the preferred method of weight training.

High intensity training is just that. Whenever you work out you try to hit your maximum effort each and every time. That sounds exhausting even to write about but this type of training works well. I must emphasize again that depending on your commitment and goals you will see results if you employ this attitude.

Now the best part of any training program is rest. Yes, even for highly motivated people this is hard to accomplish because of the drive that they have in reaching their goals. You have to remember that after diet, and a training program that you've been following diligently you have to let your body recuperate and grow. Growth is followed by rest periods. These rest periods are vital to your success, so when the plan calls for 1-2 days off from workout, take heed. Rest your mind, body and soul and you will be rewarded beyond your greatest expectations.

Well the big question is really up to you. Do you know yourself and do you know what you want to get out of a weight training program? If you do, then you are way ahead of most people when they start a weight training program.
