The famous temples of Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh State are popular for its archaeological excellence. The temples were built during the Chandela Dynasty between 250 and 1050 AD. Dancers from abroad also perform during this week long festival in Madhya Pardesh. The dance festival takes place in front of the Chitragupta & Vishwanatha Temple. The two temples are dedicated to the Sun Goa and Lord Shiva respectively.
