One way to spread the word about your website or blog is to offer amusing and entertaining content to other sites. Other sites love free content that has bells and whistles or a useful function of some kin. There are several ways to do this. All it takes is a little creativity and some programming knowledge to create a piece of code that allows others to paste an object that relates to your site.

This piece of code could be any kind of Internet knick-knack. It could be a horoscope, a short poll or a guessing game. It could be a calendar, a list keeper or some kind of puzzle or word generator. The possibilities are endless. Just be sure whatever it is that you invent that it is something that your readers will want. For instance if you are writing a blog about astrology you might want to provide them with a piece of code that displays their daily horoscope. If you are doing a dating blog you might want to post a piece of code that generates a yes/no response from the reader such as ?Who should phone back first after sex ? a man or a woman??

People also like free clip art. If you have the ability to create clip art or provide a clip art library (that relates to your theme of course) to individuals then you will be sure to attract more traffic to your blog. This helps get your name out there so that it is associated with creativity and unique resources.

A really good example of this type of content in action is at fa?ade.com, which offers a full-fledged tarot, rune, numerology and celebrity horoscope reading scheme as a free program that can be placed on other sites. The reason it is being cited as an example here is because it is so glitzy, full of bells and whistles and also very popular.

Buying PLR content articles is quickly turning into the fastest and simplest way to purchase content for a site. Have you ever seen a website with the content so poorly written that the site loses all credibility? You likely have. I know I have seen this happen much too often. This turns an otherwise well-designed site into nothing more than a joke. You have to wonder why more people aren't paying to have content that keeps them out of the joke realm. For those who can't afford to pay a content writer, I can understand that. Paying a few dollars for original content will get you poorly written items. But, buying articles for $20 each can get quite expensive. That's a way to get great content, but it can certainly add up to a hefty bill.

For those who can't afford to buy good, original content, there is PLR content. It may be just as high in quality, depending on the skill of the PLR writer, and the price is always much lower. Buying PLR content articles is the best way to get started quickly and with no huge upfront cost. There are enough PLR packages out there that it should be possible to find PLR articles that match your topic, or after finding PLR that interests you, you can build a new site to fit it. These articles can fill blogs, or they can be used to fill any type of website. The usual way PLR articles are handles is that a specific number of them are sold before the package is retired from the PLR website.

But, even if the amount of times a set of PLR articles is sold is in the hundreds, it's pretty unlikely that a person searching on the keywords would run into two websites that have bought them. One of the many reasons for this is that the PLR articles will not be put on the websites that are alike, which leads to different people running into them. Another reason is that some people who buy them aren't going to use them at all- they either want the information or they intend to start a website and never do it. Lastly, it is very unlikely for it to happen because out of the billions of websites out there, searchers are very unlikely to run into two or more that have the same content.
