I bet you all heard what detox is. It is the process of eliminating toxic materials from the body to avoid all types of illnesses and bodily malfunction. Many people are now using this process knowing how effective it is for making a person healthy and active. Many even consider it as one efficient way for losing weight as it helps the body to break down and eliminate fats.
Being a weight loser and health boaster, detox is now used as a diet. It is increasingly becoming one of the most well known diet fads with more and more dieters using detoxification as their primary way of solving weight loss problems.
But, finding the right detox diet can be a bit puzzling with a number of types coming out in the field. Each has its own rules and requirements, but often all of the detox diet types work in one particular aim – to get rid of toxins.
For such aim, the detox diet is implemented in a way that it helps to lessen the levels or amount of harmful chemicals we eat from foods. Also, people who engaged themselves in the process are needed to determine which foods are safe and are not allowed. The foods are determined basically as to how rich they are in minerals, vitamins, nutrients and antioxidants. All of these properties are considered carefully as they are deemed necessary for the detoxification process to takes place.
In addition, the foods are carefully identified in detox diet simply for the fact that there are some which do not work to drag out and get rid of the toxic materials. Therefore, it is clear that in detox diet, only the foods that aid to enhance the rate of bowel movements, as well as urination, are what is generally given importance. Water and foods contain fiber are few of the most favored.
It is maintained that if all of the elements needed in the detox diet are met, people who engage into it have greater chances of improved clarity and energy, regular bowel movement, developing proper digestion, enhanced concentration, clearer skin. With all these benefits, detox diet can surely allow you to kick back to life again with more energy and confidence.
But know the fact that, the detox diet is not for everyone. Yes, there are certain limits to it especially when it comes to its use. For example, pregnant and nursing mothers are not allowed to undergo the process for certain unfavorable side effects. Those who are suffering from addiction to alcohol or drugs, epilepsy, hypothyroidism, cancer, diabetes, ulcers, low blood pressure, eating disorders, anemia, heart and liver disease are not allowed to consider the diet unless suggested by a health care professional.
In summary, it is then important for everyone thinking about using the detox diet to ask an expert first before deciding on whether to undergo or not. It is through this way only that you can certain if the detox diet is the best for you, or you just have a medical problem that needs a much effective solution.
Detox diets have become very popular recently and for very good reason. With toxins entering our body from an alarming amount of sources, it has become necessary for achieving a full body detox to follow a detox diet to rid our body from these toxins that trigger poor health. Not carrying out a detox program that incorporates a detox diet, causes you to risk developing many minor and major health issues.
A full body detox program that incorporates a detox diet will overcome many major and minor health issues providing that the body detox program that is used, deals with all the factors that contribute to the build up of toxins in the many parts of the body that toxins accumulate in.
One health problem that is very common but many people are unaware of is food intolerances. It has recently been reported that over half the population of America has some form of food intolerance.
The majority of food intolerances come from toxins and undigested food passing through the intestinal wall into the bloodstream causing the immune system to go crazy as well as get a bit confused between what is good and bad. The result is that the immune system reacts against normal food, causing symptoms like headaches, aches, pains and inflammation in the joints, bloating, wind pain, bad breath, skin problems and many more. With the amount of toxins in our environment and the over use of drugs, preservatives and bad diet, it's no wonder that over half of the population suffers from some form of food intolerance
Everyone will react differently to different foods but there are some common ones that people generally react to and a good detox diet should take them into account, they are - Wheat. - Yeast. - Foods that contains gluten - Dairy. - Sugar - Oranges and apples. - Food additives and preservatives. - Oats - Corn
To achieve a total and complete body detox there are many factors that must be dealt with that contribute to creating a vicious toxic cycle in the body.
Food intolerances are one of them.
As I explained above, food intolerances are caused by an over reactive immune system which has been created by toxins within the bloodstream, when the immune system is in this state, it creates nitric oxide which contributes to the toxic cycle. Therefore a body detox program and detox diet that does not take into account food intolerances will be fighting an uphill battle to achieve a full and lasting body detox.
There are a number of other factors that also create a vicious toxic cycle but unless your Body detox program and detox diet does not take food intolerances into account then a lasting body detox will not be achieved.
