The Tejas Rodeo Company is presenting an authentic, full-fledged rodeo, featuring such events as: bullriding, tie-down roping, team roping, breakaway roping, barrel racing, and a calf scramble. The company presents this event twice a year, in the spring and fall, and each year receives rave reviews. The hour and a half show is presented indoors and is geared towards the whole family. Admission prices are $8 for adults, $4 for 6-12 year olds, and free for the young?uns.
In addition to the sporting activities, the event also features fresh BBQ, a cantina, live music, and even an outdoor dance floor, for those who really get into the spirit.
This year's spring installment ends on the third Saturday of this month (May 19), so hurry down! The venue is located at the Cibolo Livery Stables, 401 Obst Rd, in Bulverde, just about 15 miles outside of San Antonio. The show gets started at 7 PM.
