Do you have the courage to be rich? A simple question but it is one that most people would not understand the significance of it. You see, it takes a massive amount of courage to be rich. Anyone can sit on the sidelines and think about wealth and all that it brings and hope that one day they will be wealthy. Only a small amount of people can actually get up from the sidelines, and take the action to do whatever it takes to become wealthy. Let me repeat that, whatever it takes.
You cannot make a preference to become rich. Well you can, but that won't make you rich. You must make a decision, and that decision must be final. If you make that decision there is no going back, there is no more listening to the negative talk in your head, and there is no more excuses. It is amazing how many excuses we can come up with in order not to do something. Generally we make an excuse to get out of something that we do not want to do.
But we want to become wealthy don't we so why do we make excuses? It is for one main reason, and that is fear. It is fear that makes us come up with all manner of reasons not to do something. Think about it and you will see that this is right.
So how do we overcome this fear? The only way to overcome fear is to first become aware of it. The longer you do not recognise the fear is there, the longer it will control you. This fear rears its ugly head all the time, especially in the negative self-talk that goes on in our heads. Once we are aware when it appears we now have the opportunity to turn it into a positive emotion by changing the way in which we look at the situation. Think of it as looking out one window where all you can see is the fear of the situation. Try looking out a window with a different view on things, it is not always as bad as it seems and there is always opportunity where fear exists.
Quite often the fear that gets us is the same fear that has got us our entire life. Those things that happened in our early childhood are still there, deep in our subconscious. To get to the bottom of our fear and have the chance to rewire our brain we must take it upon ourselves to get assistance and employ those who can help us become better people.
Every successful person I know has a success coach. Even the greatest people I know of have success coaches. This is without exception. It takes a rare person who can go it alone and become successful and even then their success will be limited as to what it could be. A good success coach is worth their weight in gold and they can and do charge a lot of money for their services. Pay it, you will be rewarded ten times over not only with wealth but with all aspects of your life.
Once we can tame our fear and face our daily challenges with excited anticipation, we can then be in a position in which we are ready to accept wealth into our lives. No longer will we repel it because of some underlying fear of money being the root of all evil, or that rich people are all snobby.
Fear is a powerful emotion. We can take this fear and face it head on with courage and courage will win every time if you make it. People owe it to themselves to draw every ounce of courage they have and beat their own personal demons and to finally live the life they are entitled to.
I’m constantly amazed at how the majority of the human race in a great country like America would rather spend their entire life being mediocre, swapping hours for dollars, taking little risk, playing not to lose…then going for the gusto and getting everything possible out of the short time we have on this earth.
As I write this, shortly after my 60th birthday, at 10 A.M. in the morning after making several multi-million dollar decisions already today, I ask myself…
I Wonder What The Poor People Are Doing Today?
Some of you may already know, as you get older you take a lot less for granted and begin to appreciate the simpler things in life. What used to be important to you now means little. You gain a larger sense of urgency to get more done quicker than you have in the past, knowing you won’t live forever and if you do, you’ll be too old to enjoy life.
I don’t know about you, but I’m going out swinging and no one will ever accuse me of being lazy, or non productive. I wish I could say the same for everyone I know. There’s one thing I know for sure…
We Ain’t Getting Out Of This Life Alive!
(Note to my older brother Dave! I’m not referring to the after life here, so no sermon please).
Speaking of my big brother, you can see him in person at our Real Estate and Success Expos where he does a class on Taming The Fear Monster, and the Sunday morning worship service. There’s a schedule of the Expos included here for this year and next. Tell FFN you’re a member, and you get to go for FREE. For more info on how to sign up, go to your member’s only password protected website via intranet. These inexpensive events are the biggest bang for the education buck in the industry and this 60 year old body teaches every one of them and actually I have a blast doing it.
Come to think of it, I have a blast doing almost everything I do. Life’s a blast. It’s fun to be me. Is It Fun To Be You?
If the answer is no, what are you going do about it? Will your life continue to be mediocre and boring, or will you gain some guts and go for the gusto? Is winning big more important to you than surviving?
Do You Have The Courage To Become Filthy, Stinking Rich?
Look, I was a mechanic who barely cleared high school. No money, no credit, no training, no rich relatives, and no simple plan to follow to success. It was a tough struggle where I invented the steps incurring much pain and I enjoyed almost every day of the struggle. I only have one regret...
