By now, after three years of regular travelling out of the Durham airport, I can say I am an experienced (business) flier. Everybody will know that arriving by private car is the most relaxed way of travelling. An important factor is that you should know before you arrive where you want to park and how much money you can afford on car parking. Well, as a frequent flier I would like to give some advice about the best parking options which are available at Durham airport.
Today, the internet represents several excellent online suppliers which offer the most lucrative deals on parking and therefore I always book my parking space in advance online. It is not only very easy to do but also more economical as you will save money too! As parking at the airport is usually quite pricy, who wouldn't like to save some money?
The same standards of quality are offered by the majority of the parking businesses. The only things different are locations and fees. The reasons why I decide to park at a certain facility are how much time is left prior to my flight and how much money it will cost me.
The best options, according to my personal experiences, at Durham airport feature the car park at the Spa Hotel and the On Airport Parking amenity. The on site located Spa Hotel runs a car parking offering good services and an easy check in procedure. You just have to go to the hotel establishment's reception and staff will you're your car for you at the site. Ask your keys back at the reception when you return and off you go!
The on airport parking site lies opposite the terminal building. The terminal is easy accessible on foot. There is a high level of security. Patrols take place 24 hours per day and CCTV as well. Check in procedures here are easy too. Get a ticket from the barrier once you arrive at the site and safe it in your wallet. When you arrive back at Durham, the information counter in the airport terminal will exchange the entry voucher for you. Easy, isn't it!
After all my travels I really know by know the most comfortable means of securing airport parking. These days the internet provides a number of reputed, well-established and efficient services which might be very useful to you. It will save you a great deal of time and effort. I always pre-booked my parking space at Durham airport while sitting in my office. In fact using the better websites to plan your journey is probably the best advice I can give, don't be afraid of these services, they often do offer the finest arrangements. Here are a few of the ones I like best for your benefit.
