First question: Why a musical audio book? The idea came out of the frustration of not finding the kind of script I wished to write music for. I kept trying in vain until one day I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and got down to work, writing my own musical tale. How did it go during the writing process? Where there a "blank sheet" anxiety? I had a difficult time getting the beginning out. After that, the full Helena project will be nearly five hours long. It was essential to steer it in the right way from the first notes on. It put me under much, and I was scared about failing. What’s your relationship with the heroic fantasy universe that Helena’s tale is based on? Music that doesn’t make you dream is useless. A musical audio book needs a fantasy world where the heros live very special adventures. Because we are not in reality, the music can expand freely, and that’s great. Through the fantastic world, many situations are driven to the maximum. They appeal for more interesting drawings. Could you tell us why you choose the Internet? I began with a simple question: Why make a video game, without knowing if your story will find an audience? Free Internet is a direct access to people and an opportunity to ask: “Do you like this project, etc.?", and on an international level. If it is successful, the next step would be to produce for other media. It's also a domain of ultimate freedom for us too; no distributor. What we do is what you get, direct from us to you, as if we had come to your place and told you our story. It couldn't get better than this. The very thorough production standards result in fantastic professional quality with beautiful story in a highly successful package. Are you also pleased with the final cut? I didn't anticipate such a long production process when I started out. It is also the sum of all the great people on this team that has led to this higher result. As far as music is concerned, I never feel totally satisfied. With ideas, there is always a parameter of luck. Let’s say I am really satisfied about some of the tracks.
