[T322]The Best Tattoo Designs
by James Woolley, Jam
Well there are a number of different types of tattoo design that can appeal to women but the most popular designs can be broadly categorised into three different categories.

In the first of these categories you've got the classic mainstream designs that are always popular with women. These include the highly popular butterfly tattoo design, as well as the dragonfly, fairy, flower and heart designs. All of these designs, whilst looking cute and attractive, also have powerful character traits that appeal to women, which accounts for a lot of their popularity. Between them they represent qualities such as love, romance, warmth, happiness, independence, freedom and spirituality.

The next category of tattoo is not so obviously feminine in nature. These tattoos are very attractive, but are slightly more complex in that they convey slightly deeper and more symbolic messages. So included in this category you've got a dolphin tattoo which signifies intelligence and warmth, star tattoos which can be interpreted in many different ways, and zodiac tattoos which are currently very popular with young women, a lot of whom are very passionate about astrology.

The final category consists of a couple of different tattoo styles that have for so long been associated with the male population, but are now becoming increasingly popular with females as well. I'm talking here about Celtic tattoos and tribal tattoos.

Many people around the world find they have Celtic family connections when tracing their family history so a Celtic tattoo is a great way to honour this heritage. This applies to women as well as men nowadays who have no qualms about getting a Celtic tattoo done.

Similarly tribal tattoos are just as popular with women nowadays. Whether it's an authentic ancient tribal tattoo or a fashionable modern day one, tribal tattoos and their unique style continue to be popular with the female population.

So to sum up, there are many design tattoo designs that are popular with women whether it's traditional feminine designs, slightly more symbolic designs or tribal tattoos that for so long were only really popular with men. Tattoos on a woman often look very attractive and they are a great way to show off your personality and character traits.

If You're Sweet?

Roses, butterflies and delicate vines. These types of tattoo designs tell others that you are a lovely person with a sensitive side. Not surprisingly, tattoo designs of this nature are usually chosen by females.

If You're Sassy?

If you're a gal who has a bit of an ?edge?, you might want a tattoo to reflect your sass. Crosses, chains, and larger creatures (either real or mythical) all tell viewers, ?I know who I am and I'm proud to be me!?

If You're Political?

The world of politics is an intriguing place. If you're totally involved in all things political, why not choose a tattoo that represents your hobby? Get a picture of George Washington tattooed on your arm. Have Queen Victoria tattooed on your back. Design a political slogan and have a tattoo artist write it across your chest.

If You're Silly?

Smiley faces or goofy sayings. They're all found on silly persons in the form of tattoos! There are plenty of tattoo designs that will allow you to make others giggle, laugh, or wet themselves. Be creative!

If You're Angry?

You're not a happy individual and you want others to know it. So you pick skulls and disturbing scenes to be a part of your tattoo art. Of course, don't be surprised if you become happier over time; the tattoos may just be cathartic.

If You're Sentimental?

Sentimental gals and guys often choose to have a loved one's name or image tattooed upon their bodies. For centuries, men have decided to tattoo their children's birthdays and monikers upon their chests and arms. Now, women are also starting to join the club.

The sky is the limit. Pick the perfect tattoo for YOU!
