The Power key is pressed when turning on or off the computer. The Wake key, meanwhile, is used to ?wake? the computer system from standby mode. The computer is in ?standby mode? or in ?sleep mode? when the Sleep key is pressed. In these two modes, the computer does not use as much power as it normally does when it is in active mode.

While a keyboard layout may seem very insignificant to many, it greatly contributes to user convenience. Keyboard layout specifies what character the computer will display when you will press the certain key on your keyboard. There are various characters in different languages, but in Windows you can easily switch between languages with Control + Shift or Alt + Shift key stoke. For instance, if you are using English, German and French you can specify one short key to switch between English and German and another short key to switch between German and French.
