The shift to capitalism following the Cold War left many individuals in a struggle to survive. They knew little more than working and receiving their needs from the government. Suddenly that was no longer possible.

Forward thinkers and even more ruthless individuals grasped the possibilities of Capitalism and took off running before most citizens could comprehend what had happened.

The economy in Russia continues to struggle as individuals come to terms with the idea that it really was all right to dream moneymaking dreams. However, with so many in a deficit situation financially most resist the urge to dream because they feel the ultimately cruelty would be the shattering of that dream.

Analysts believe the success of this economy will take place as more dreamers tentatively reach for the dream, encouraged by those who are succeeding.

Most of us have a tendency to shrink from that which is unknown. Living in a culture that thrives on Capitalism I see people taking chances with dreams every day. Some of these dreams are huge and others are personal nuggets of financial growth for a family.

There remain a large percentage of individuals who feel it will always be in their best interest to work for someone else. It is safer. Taxes are automatically removed from the check. Social security funds are deposited and there may be a variety of benefits available that would be missed if they struck out on their own.

This is why tackling a moneymaking dream that exists on a part-time scale can be the perfect introduction to self-employment. This method allows you to remain fully employed and able to access the benefits you have come to rely on while your money-making idea is allowed to blossom.

Even if you insist that the idea remain part time you may find that your overall satisfaction in all work is enhanced by your involvement in something that is self-directed.

I believe we are all born with an innate desire to accomplish something noteworthy. We all desire a success story that can be passed on to our grandchildren. We earnestly want to succeed, and as much as we would like to think that working for someone else would make it possible that special feeling only happens when we grab hold of our mental erector set and build something of our own.

Success comes in many forms. For some it will only be accepted as success if it turns into a Fortune 500 company. Others are satisfied with a small franchise operation. Some will be happy owning their own business. Still others are content to help others for pay when time allows them to do so.

There are even some who will find the act of ‘trying' a real stepping-stone in their own personal growth.

Interestingly even failure can be counted as a success when it opens a window of discovery. The lessons learned in failure can bridge the gap toward future successes – no matter what country you call home.

The basic mistake made by most people when they decide they want to get fit is to be too ambitious. Trying to become totall fit "all at once" is doomed to failure. You need to incorporate fitness into your life over time. As you start to add exercise into your daily routine, your body mind and spirit need to adjust. Fitness in smal steps means that you will not be overwhelmed by the changes in your life and decide to stop working on it.
If this is the first time in months or years that you are deciding to get active, then first get moving and add walking every day. It takes walking for at least 30 minutes a day in order to see changes in your fitness level. Once you have been walking for a while and are starting to see the effects of the program you can make changes in your fitness regime, join a gym, take up power walking or try hiking with friends.
Make sure that you invest in a good pair of walking shoes so that your feet are well supported and cushioned as you walk. If you get sore feet from walking you wont want to continue your fitness routine. You might also want to buy a pedometer so that you can keep track of how far you walk each day.
It is important not to try to do too much at first because you risk injuring yourself if you push your body farther than it is ready to go. Do the same walking routine every day for the first couple of weeks. We are trying to do 30 minutes of walking a day, but you may need to work up to this gradually. After you have a walking regime set for two weeks then gradually add a little more time. Only do what you are comfortable doing, this way you will be motivated to continue.
Use other ways to get some exercise into your life. Park the car a little distance from your destination and walk the rest of the way. Leave your car at home and walk to the mall. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Start by walking up one flight and taking the elevator the rest of the way. The aim is to get movement into you life and doing that will help you reach your fitness goal.
After a couple months of taking the above small steps towards fitness youll start to see a significant change in your fitness level. Youll find that you feel better, have more energy, are sleeping more soundly, and feel better about yourself.
