You can find many ways to get more visitors to your website. You can go to forums that allow it and answer a question and put up a link to your site. On some of these sites, it helps you to get more traffic from search engines. Sometimes your answer will be ideal for that person asking the question.
Someone on a forum wanted to know what Kevin Trudeau's miracle cure for being overweight was before spending all that money for his book. I sent him to my site and he read about it. Then he thanked me for saving him all that money which would have made him feel like a sucker who was ripped off. Since then, the F.T.C. (Federal Trade Commission) has gone after Kevin Trudeau for saying that you can eat whatever you want on the infomercial while the book says that you cannot eat any unhealthy food.
Another way to create more traffic is by finding directories online and putting your link on their website. There are some companies that you can pay to do this for you. You may find that some of these site want you to put a link back to them, but others do not. These links can help you get more traffic from the search engines. There are hundreds of these directories out there. Some let you use the code to make a keyword (or term) the link instead of the address of the site. So you can make "vampire antidote" the link to your site. Then this will help you when someone does a search on a search engine for "vampire antidote." This is better than a link that just says "www.henderson.com."
Another way is to write articles and submit the article to article sites like with what you are reading right now. In exchange, they put up a link to your website. The link is usually in the author or bio information. Some only allow text, so you have to just put up your url like "www.henderson.com." Some allow html where you put in the code so the link will say "vampire antidote."
Some of these article sites gets lot of traffic so you can even get people coming to your site from the article. Others get only a little bit of traffic but may help you get more traffic from the search engines. To see how much traffic a website gets, see the Alexa.com site. Also you can check on a site's Google PR rank to see how much a link from them will help you with the search engines.
There are hundreds of these article sites and they are growing everyday. I may put up a list of them on my website in the future. Also I may create my own article site in the future. These articles create a great deal of free information on the world wide web. Sometimes you can get some valuable information from reading these articles. Also when you get one of these articles put up on a site (published), you can say that you are a writer who writes articles.
This way the information that is out there is not just controlled by the publishers, but it is controlled by the people, like you and me. It is a great example of the first amendment of the United States Constitution at work. It will be interesting to see the changes that happen with the world wide web being so new. Many of the founders of the U.S.A. were writers.
I check out these links and most of them have active links to my site. Once in a while a site will not have an active link and I will write them and let them know that it is part of the requirement or condition for them to have the article on their site. Sometimes they are having trouble with doing things on their article site. Once in a while they use the code rel="no follow" which means that they have the intention to benefit from using your article without you benefiting as far as the search engines go. I click on VIEW and then SOURCE to look for this code.
You can tell the sites doing this that you do not appreciate it and to remove your article. You can also tell them that you will spread the word about them. You can even write an article about it and they may even put it on their site without realizing what they are doing. A few days ago on a forum I saw someone asking if the article sites actually put up a link to you or just use your article without doing anything for you so this has answered that question. But how exactly do you get more traffic?
First up a word of warning: Don't believe the hype. There are no magic formulas or secret strategies. The people that prorogate these lies pray on gullible people that are often looking a fast fix that leads to a finical wind fall. In short, there are only three legitimate and ethical ways to increase the flow of traffic towards your desired sites. You can buy it, email your list or do a joint venture.
Let's take a closer look the options:
1.Email your list.
I ?m presuming you have one because if you haven't your endeavors might be making money but you certainly don't have a business. Having a highly responsive list is like having goose that lays golden eggs: It's the ultimate asset. With a click of a button direct a flood of people to which ever site you wish.
The bottom line is this: Growing your list has to be on the top of your ?Daily Things I Must Do List?.
2.Buy it.
Buying traffic is easy. Any one can do it. You all have to do is sign up for a Google Adwords account. The whole process takes les than five minutes. Yes, you could sign up for one of the other PPC (pay per click) sites but why make things hard for yourself. Google offer the best service on the planet. They're number 1 because they are number 1.
Here's the deal with buying traffic. Do a search on Google for any thing and you'll notice that on the right hand side there are little boxes containing information. Yes, you guessed it, they're ads.
For example search for ?mortgages?.
Results = 91,600,000 websites for mortgages. On the right hand side we get the ads. The top ad would cost you about $15- $25 per click. Isn't that expensive? No, not really. Your job is to turn the click into a customer. If your product/sale brings in $2000 a time and you have a conversion rate of + 1% and your max bid price for your click is $17 every 100 click would bring you $300 profit. Think what it means if you can increase your conversion rate buy just .5%. That's another $150 per $1700 that you invest.
Increase your investment buy 100% and that buys you another 100 clicks = another $450 profit.
Buying traffic can be heaps of fun. I'm sure you can see why.
3.Joint Venture
There's only one thing better than owning your own list and that having access to everyone else's list. Why? Because at the end of the day the object is to get your offer/product or service in front of as many pairs of eyeballs as possible.
Having a 10,000 + subscriber list is great but having twenty friends that are each willing to email your offer to their 10,000 + subscriber lists is better.
Image how much traffic that would bring you.
Obviously, there's much more that can be said about the three traffic increasing strategies but these are the things that work. In a word, More Traffic Guaranteed
