Being picky on DVD media cover
Basically, it is all about the cover. Is it not ironic that some people would prefer buying or adding a movie disc in their collection simply based on the media's cover? You simply tend to appreciate what is attractive to you, regardless of quality and performance. Although it would be practical to decide based on movie quality and DVD media performance but often, you choose what catches your attention.
This may be true when you are in a movie store and is trying purchase some movies whose previews you have not seen yet. You either tend to look into the actors, story, directors, and producers. If the movie is directed by a great director then it must be good, and so on and so forth. But for some reason, you still tend to include in your purchase those that had catches your visual interest. We most definitely like seeing high-quality made covers that use bright and amazing colors same as with the material. It is worth the money anyway.
Emerging of Blu-ray covers
Although Blu-ray covers have been around just recently, its competence is perceived to consistently increase. Future prospective of making such specific covers further enhanced is even undeniable. Since its conceptualization, blu-ray covers have become significantly used and preferred not only by individual movie collectors but even the biggest movie producing companies and studios as well. Apparently, its high quality trait is what makes it popular for many. So if you want your movie collection to stand out, definitely go for the Blu-ray covers.
Brief history
Consequently, the Blu-ray concept came about from the creation of DVD Blu-ray disc. It is an optical disc storage media format developed and consistently being promoted by the Blur-ray Disc Association, which is a group of companies that represent computer hardware, consumer electronics, and motion picture production.
What is unique about this disc is its reading mechanism. Unlike a standard DVD or CD, the disc uses blue-violet laser for reading mechanism resulting for a shorter wavelength, thus making it more ideal for data storage. The shorter the wavelength, the larger the data storage as simply put. Likewise, it is also preferred for its disc capacity and usage.
A competitive product for a competitive market
In terms of high definition quality, the DVD Blu-ray disc is becoming increasingly popular and mostly preferred. And it must come along with a high quality cover design and material as well. If it aims to compete and successfully surpass potential competitors in the movie market, then every possible detail of the media's production must seriously taken into consideration.
Adding DVD Blu-ray products in your collection is perhaps one way of making your collection to stand out from all others, especially now that these products are perceived as the next generation media. Then that would make you the next generation movie collector.
