Hadassah is the "Women's Zionist Organization of America" and is an American-Zionist women's organization work in voluntarily proportion.

The organization founded in 1912 by public activist Henrietta Szold - a Jewish Zionist from Baltimore and was head of "the Youth Aliyah Movement" and been study in seminary of conservative Rabbis (Conservative Jewish movement). Hadassah is now one of the largest Jewish organizations in the US by number of members.

Hadasit has been established in 1986 and is the Technology Transfer corporation of Hadassah Medical Organization - which includes in Israel University hospitals in Jerusalem at Ein Kerem and Har Hatzufim (Mount Scopus)

The company also been guided over lots of medical researchers at biotech / pharma from corporations around the world.

Also there in development is the 'Hadassah-Hebrew University BioPark', schedule to be launched in 2008 - and will be Israel's first technology park for Research and development based technologies for the diagnostic or therapeutic application of science and technology - open for specific companies. The Bio-Park is located on Hadassah Ein Kerem medical campus.
