[M519]Mini Face Lift Cost
by John Pawlett, Joh
If you are ready to get a lift, you just need to compile all of the financial information about getting a face lift. Dont be surprised at the cost; at first, you may suffer from sticker shock. Your lift may very well be one of the biggest investments that you ever make, especially because your health insurance generally wont help you cover the costs. If you are having a full lift performed you can expect to pay upwards of $5,600. If you are having a partial face lift performed you can expect to pay right around $3,000. This price may not include the handful of consultations that you have prior to the actual lift being performed and these can range from $50 to $300 per visit depending on your doctor and the cost of living in the area that you live in.

While you might suffer from a bit of sticker shock when you see the prices for a lift, your doctor will likely offer financing options. Most plastic surgeons realize that most people do not have a few thousand extra dollars sitting around for optional surgery so the financing plans make sense. While this is a good way to afford the surgery now, remember that there are probably interest fees attached to the lift financing program, which in the end will make the procedure even more expensive. If you do opt to finance your lift, you should try to pay it off sooner rather than later to avoid paying more in finance charges. When planning on how much your lift will cost, you will also need to consider how much after care and time off of work will cost you; as you can see, the cost of a lift is far more than the stated price by a doctor.

Face lifts are becoming commonplace these days. It's important to remember, however, that a lift is still surgery. You should choose a face lift surgeon as carefully as you choose any other doctor involved in your health care. A good place to begin is word of mouth. Talk to people who have had face lifts about their doctors. Develop a "short list"--two or three doctors you might be interested in working with and then schedule a consultation visit with each of them.

Since any doctor can claim to be a plastic surgeon, the first things you want to look for are professional affiliations. The plastic surgeon doing your face lift should be certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and ideally by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstruction Surgery, as well.

The Lifestyle Lift cost seems to be one of the most important factors in deciding if one should get a Lifestyle Lift or not. Apart from having the procedure explained in detail, people are concerned about the affordability of such an intervention especially since it is not considered a life and death matter. After all wanting to have a face lift it’s an esthetic issue not a health one. Other Lifestyle Lift problems are insecurity related to the way the procedure goes, after care and location of the places that offer the procedure.

There is no set Lifestyle Lift cost, but it should not be over $5,000. The cost of such a procedure differs from one person to another and depends on the person’s particular needs. Because of the characteristics of the Lifestyle Lift and its procedure, the cost is way below the price of a traditional face lift. However one should understand that a Lifestyle Lift does not replace a traditional face lift and that this procedure does not work for everybody. Even though a Lifestyle Lift is cheaper than a traditional face lift and it has advantages compared with the traditional face lift, it is still a procedure done by trained doctors. They are not just doctors, but facial plastic surgeons with great experience in both kinds of face lifts: the traditional one and the Lifestyle lift. The fact that the Lifestyle Lift cost is smaller than the traditional face lift cost should not automatically make you decide to go for it.

Since this procedure is not for everybody, it is important to have a consultation with the surgeon before and get informed about the procedure. Ask all the questions you have, make sure you understand how the procedure is done and what the difference between a Lifestyle Lift and a traditional face lift is. Not understanding completely the procedure, the things that happen before the procedure and the things that happen after the actual procedure, seems to be one of the Lifestyle Lift problems. The solution for this problem is to go to the first consultation with the surgeon. Most of the time the clinics offering the Lifestyle Lift offer a free consultation so that anybody interested can go and find out the details. There are also plenty of details about the procedure online.

Called a procedure and not a surgery, the Lifestyle Lift takes about an hour and is only intended for frown lines, wrinkles, jowls, loose neck and facial skin. Depending on the amount of work needed around your eyes and nose, if you need liposuction or not, the cost varies, but is significantly smaller than the cost of the traditional face lift. Just because it is cheaper it does not mean it lasts only for a short period of time. The results of the Lifestyle Lift are observed almost immediately and last for years. Because the anesthesia is local, the procedure is a safer on and the recovery period is shorter. Albeit the procedure is sometimes called face lift to go, the advantages are also more evident than at a traditional face lift.
