The inspiration behind the creation of Tila & Co. came from personal experience. The Alteza sisters, both fashion-oriented from an early age, found as they got older how difficult it was to keep up with the changing styles from year to year. The unique jewelry they admired were often out of their price range. They discovered that they could create their own pieces and were pleasantly surprised to find they were the recipients of compliments from friends, co-workers and complete strangers. Compliments turned into orders and quickly Tila & Co. was born.

It has been that the totality of men's jewelry was confined to a father giving his son a pocket watch owned by his father and his father before.
