Fabolous (born John Jackson on November 18, 1977 in Brooklyn, New York) is a rapper of African-American and Dominican descent from Brooklyn who became a mainstream star after his debut single "Can't Deny It" from 2001 (see 2001 in music). Since then, he has gained popularity in the rap game for his mellow flow, crossover sensibilities, intricate lyrics, and witty punchlines (traits that have often compared his style to Harlem rapper Ma$e). The first star to come from DJ Clue's Desert Storm record label, Fabolous collaborated with Nate Dogg, The Neptunes, Lil Mo, Timbaland, Ja Rule and others on Ghetto Fabolous. "Can't Deny It" and Ghetto Fabolous became crossover hits. The follow-up, Street Dreams, produced two top 10 pop hits in "Can't Let You Go" and "Into You". Fabolous's 3rd album, Real Talk, was released in 2004.
Fabolous has made guest appearances on tracks by many different artists including Jennifer Lopez, Don Omar, Christina Milian, Amerie, Mariah Carey, Bow Wow, lil Mo, Benzino & Tamia, B2K, P.Diddy, & Young Jeezy.
His latest release is the mixtape "Loso's Way". The lead-off single is "Smokin' and Sippin'" featuring Paul Cain and Magnificent produced by CHOPS.

Biography and music career Stacy Ferguson was born to parents Terri and Pat Ferguson who were of Irish and Scottish descent. As a child actress, she appeared on the television program Kids Incorporated for several years with Renee Sands, who herself would become another member of Wild Orchid. Her well-scrubbed image on that show presents quite a contrast with the ghetto-funk image she has more recently begun to cultivate. Ferguson was the voice of Sally Brown in two Charlie Brown specials: It's Flashbeagle, Charlie Brown (1984) and Snoopy's Getting Married, Charlie Brown (1985). She has one sister, Dana Ferguson, who is an actress.
Later, Ferguson was a member of the female trio Wild Orchid which she fronted with fellow Kids Incorporated star Renee Sands and Stefanie Ridel. Wild Orchid released two albums, but after completing a third album, their record label declined to release it. This prompted an emotional crisis, and Stacy sought therapy. She left the group shortly thereafter.
Her disappointment with Wild Orchid led to an addiction to ecstacy and crystal meth. She told a Glasgow paper: "I started doing Ecstasy. Then I got addicted to crystal methamphetamine. My weight dropped to 90 lb so I lied to my friends and said I was bulimic. Finally, I started going crazy."
On July 2003, she had a guest role on the Rocket Power special, Reggie's Big Beach Break, on Nickelodeon, voicing a fictitious pop music star named Shaffika.
Trivia According to Adam Carolla, Fergie (when she was in Wild Orchid) hit on him at a party in front of his wife. He told the story on the May 16, 2006 episode of The Adam Carolla Show. In May 2004, she was chosen as one of People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People in the World. In May of 2006, Maxim magazine named Fergie #36 on its annual Hot 100 list. She is also featured in their Girls of Maxim Gallery. She was voted in the 2006 FHM Top 100 women in the UK.
Solo career Ferguson is embarking on a solo career, but she has said she considers it only a side project and will still continue to record and tour with the band. will.i.am confirmed her album is called The Dutchess. She has recorded the remake of the song "True" with fellow bandmate will.i.am for the soundtrack to 50 First Dates. Just recently, she recorded two songs, "Won't Let You Fall" and "Bailamos", for the movie Poseidon, in which she also appeared.
