Rock Band Unplugged is an upcoming game for the PSP and will be the third game in the rock band franchise. Harmonix and Backbone Entertainment are working in conjunction on development of the game. See the Rock Band Unplugged trailer for the PSP at .
The game play is a cross between Rock Band and Amplitude/Frequency. Instead of using instrument peripherals in the previous rock band games, the player will hit the left, up, triangle and circle buttons in time with the note streams flowing down the track similarly to rock band. Similarly to the previous Rock Band games, It will be possible to download new DLC tracks to the game through an in-game store. It will be the first PSP game to have a store built into the game itself.
