[R260]Resorts In The Usa
by Jez Rourke, Jez
When snowboarding first came on the scene, we saw sportsman flying down ski slopes on what appeared to be a single wide ski. It looked extreme and dangerous. But those intense young people have grown up and started families, and since they still snowboard, snowboarding has become mainstream. Today, many ski resorts cater for snowboarders as its popularity continues to grow.

If you go on a ski holiday or snowboarding holiday in the United States, you will have access to some of the best slopes in the world. If you hope to take up or continue snowboarding, the following American slopes are some of the best in the country. These resorts have been classed as top resorts with regards to accessibility for people of all ages and levels, and also have great features for snowboarders.

- Big Sky. This Montana resort has 150 runs, of which 17% are beginner, 25% intermediate, 37% advanced, and 21% expert. It is known for being spread out and un-crowded, allowing boarders and skiers the chance to get on the slopes often without standing in long lines. - Crested Butte. This area has 120 ski runs: 23% beginners, 57% intermediate boarders, and 20% for advanced. It hosts not only skiing but snowboarding, hiking, mountain climbing, and many other winter sports.

- Jackson Hole. For accomplished snow baorders, Jackson Hole in Montana is the place for you. Only 10% of their runs are for beginners, and the rest are for intermediate and advanced boarders. The apparant danger of this huge mountain just adds to the adrenaline for some boarders.

- Mammoth Mountain. The only top-ranked California resort in this survey, Mammoth Mountain's ski season runs into June, later than almost any other area in the country. It offers a healthy mix of beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert slopes, coming in at 25%, 40%, 20%, and 15% respectively.

- Snowbird. This Utah resort has a fairly even mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced slopes. Snow falls well into May, extending the skiing season for fanatics who don't want to call it a day just because it's spring. Only a short distance from Salt Lake City, it is ideal for long weekend trips, since it is possible to catch a flight in and get on your skis in the same day.

- Steven's Pass. This Washington resort focuses on catering to intermediate level snowboarders and skiers, but doesn't neglect the beginners or experts, either. It is also the only ski resort in Washington that has three half pipes for snowboarders: one for beginners, one for intermediates, and one for experts.

Recently we have seen an increase in the number of people choosing to vacation at all inclusive resorts in the USA. Simply because it takes a lot less time and effort to actually organize such a vacation, plus they can also save you money on the cost of it as well. Such vacations offer you the chance to get everything from the travel and accommodation to site seeing trips and activities organized prior to you going away to one of the many inclusive resorts in the USA.

The first thing that you need to think about when booking an inclusive resorts vacation is just what you hope to get from it. Are you after one where you have plenty of things to do and see or do you just want to forget about life back home and relax.

Next you need to decide just which of the various different inclusive resorts in the USA that you want to stay at and what level of accommodation and amenities that they provide at prices which are affordable. When it comes to inclusive resorts to stay at in the USA some are located close to the beach whilst others are located in some of the country's most beautiful mountain areas.

But no matter where you choose to stay there are plenty of benefits to be had from booking yourself an inclusive resort vacation. The biggest of these being that everything is paid for prior to you taking your vacation so not only can you cut down on how much cash you take with you, but also you won't be hit by some unexpected costs that can affect how much you do have to spend whilst away.

Unlike a vacation package, an inclusive one means that you don't have to find extra money for paying for meals, entertainment and activities whilst away. Remember everything is included within the price of the vacation package along with your flights and accommodation.

Another benefit to staying at one of these resorts especially if you'll be with your family is that they lay on special activities for the kids to enjoy and keep them amused during their stay. Also you may find that they provide special deals such as pay for one child and the second one stays for free.

Although these resorts offer plenty of activities to keep the kids amused, facilities such as nanny and babysitting services are something that you may well need to pay extra for. So it is a good idea to factor a cost in for such services to your vacation budget to see if it worth staying at an inclusive resort.

Certainly if your don't have too much to spend on your next vacation an inclusive resort in the USA could prove to be the perfect choice. Remember what you pay will cover everything that matters during your stay including all your meals. But be aware such resorts don't always offer a varied menu so you need to make sure that it is still able to cater to all the dietary needs of those who will be vacationing with you.
