1) Believe

Once you have decided what you want to do; you need to plan how to get there!

Plan the process out and cut it into small achievable chunks, Make each part achievable and measurable, this will help you keep track of your site/products development and will also help you feel better as you achieve each part of your plan.

3) Decide on What You Want
Don’t fall into the trap of exchanging one job for another.You have pretty much unlimited ways to make money on the Internet, so you may as well do something that you like and enjoy doing.

As you define what lifestyle you want, you also need a good “reason why" you want to build that lifestyle. It’s your strong “reason why" that will keep you going when the going gets tough.

4) Time Management
You, me, Bill Gates and ever person in the world whether they are paupers or millionaires have one thing in common. We all have only 24 hours in one Day. Make sure you use them profitably

5) Time V/s Money
What are you working for? Having a big pile of money will not of itself make you any happier, healthier or make your life more enjoyable.

Working towards a goal for the ones you love and care about will be a much greater incentive than just thinking about the extra money that will come your way.

6) Focus
The hardest thing for someone setting out on their Voyage of Discovery to Internet Marketing Success is Discipline and Focus.

The further you move down the road towards your goal, the more distractions you will find. This is where the Discipline comes in.

Stick to your marketing strategy until you are satisfied you have completed all the tasks One product at a time will receive 100% of your attention. Starting 20 products will dilute your effort by 80%

7) Confusion Leads to No Action
If, like most of us, you have subscribed to numerous newsletters, sometimes offering conflicting advise. Some tell us to buy a certain product, others telling us we “Had" to write articles, or crying, "You Must have Your own lists, start your own Adsense site, produce your own product, etc

All that happens is that you get more confused and do nothing. Knowledge is worthless without Action ! No Action = No Income

My advice is to filter all your newsletter emails into one single folder and then look at it after a week. Keep the best and delete the rest!

8) Learn to say NO
It can be very easy to get caught up in the launch frenzy when everyone is emailing you telling you how good his or her product is. Resist the temptation to spend money on things that will not move your business forward. Obtaining a tool to help your business is wise and sensible. Buying everything that is released is not.

9) Keep an Open Mind
Adsense is simple to use, easy to implement and there are lots of success stories from people who have made lots of money with it. However, just because something is simple it doesn't mean it is the best or most profitable.

Be open to new ideas and be willing to put in some work in the short term for long-term income.

10) Profit and Loss
There are so many great sites and tools available and the sales letters are out of this world so it can be easy to suddenly find that you have monthly fees for 10 different membership sites and tools. Add that to your hosting fees and suddenly you are finding that you need to make $1k a month just to cover your outgoings!.

Review your outgoings at least twice a year; keeping control of your outgoings can really help you if you go through any rough periods. Remember Profit is what counts not turnover.
