[R162]Reincarnation Past Life Regression
by Trevor Johnson, Tre
Do you know why memories keep coming back to your mind? It's because your emotions hold these memories in your mind and energy field; they have been there since the moment that a particular experience occurred. The more emotionally intense the experience, the fresher the memory of it; though you might not recall what exactly you were doing this time last month, there are past events that you remember in every detail after decades.

Past life regression is a method used in psychiatry nowadays. Its purpose is to solve problems that prevent some people from fully live their life in the present. There are many forms in which past life regression comes to us such as the recurrent dreams of certain locations and events, phobias and a series of other emotions that we cannot explain. Of course, not all answers have to be sought in a previous life ? many of them may be traced back in childhood or later, in teenage years.

One thing is certain: past life regression therapy, which is practised in many mental health institutions all over the world, works wonders for people suffering from severe emotional problems. Specialists in past life regression therapy can help you with the emotional issues and unfinished business from the past by integrating that experience in your present life.

For those interested, here are some past life regression tips meant to give some idea to those who have never tried this kind of therapy. If you are open to the idea of reincarnation and admit the possibility that you too have been on earth more than once, you are more likely to have a successful past life regression session.

Though there are several virtual guides available, the best way to start the journey is with a person that knows how to properly guide you through this and how to help you if strong emotions come to the surface. It is safe to do this next to someone who can help in case anything traumatic occurs to you.

Another thing you should know is that whatever memories from the past you might get, they will be rather hazy; you need someone to interpret them really well for you to understand their connection and influence to your present life. What you may see or hear as well as the feelings that you might get will not be similar to the way you perceive things in this life.

The first step to past life regression is intensifying the emotion at the root of your problem. Later, in deep meditation or trance, you will recall the particular situation that had triggered that emotion. Usually, at this stage, the person utters a phrase and by repeating it several times, he or she will see images appear with the memory of some experience from a previous moment in life. The journey may go further through several similar experiences till the patient reaches the moment that the emotion appeared from the first time.

People who have done such sessions claim they have had a very useful experience and the therapist's assistance helped them find the meaning of certain images and of course ?accept' those things revealed from the past. However, the session may bring very strong feelings so you should be prepared for some quite intense moments.

Ben was a 46-year-old man, happily married with 3 kids who came to me for a very common issue. He felt he was not making his worth in his career. Though he was a brilliant man and a gifted freelance photographer, he somehow never had enough money. He was just surviving. I asked him if he can identify a pattern. Does he spend his money too easily? Is he unable to close enough deals with clients? Does he charge too little for his work? He said he didn't get enough work, as if he didn't want to have money, and when he did make money, it tended to run out quickly. He would get a speeding/parking ticket; get bigger bills than usual and so on. I asked whether he was raised very poor or very rich, and whether he thought that money was:" the root of all evil." He laughed and said he was raised in a middle class family, and he couldn't point out anything specific. He also mentioned that both his siblings were well off and had no issues with money.

I asked him to lie down, close his eyes and take a few deep breathes.
As he relaxed I guided him to fill his body with bright white light, and let the images float to his mind freely. He got very excited and started describing what he sees. "Wow, I love my shoes! They are made of orange and yellow fabric triangles, a bit funny. And my clothes...and look at this market place! So colorful and crowded! (Long pause) but I think they are afraid of me. Weird." "Where are we and what year is it?" I asked. "Iran. 1612," he replied immediately. "I'm a prince. We're very rich...but the people are very poor, they're dying of hunger. I don't care. I have great life." "How do you spend your time?" I asked. "I hang out in my beautiful garden, have fun with my women....I've got plenty of those, you know...I can do what ever I like. My father runs the kingdom, so I don't have to worry about anything. I like that." "O.K. lets go to another scene in your life," I said. "Who the hell is she?" He said suddenly. "She's ugly! And looks poor. Another wife? I don't like her!" He complained. "My father is forcing me to marry this woman, for political reasons. She belongs to the people, she's not royalty". He explained. "All right. Let's see what happens next." I encouraged him to move on. "Wow! What's going on?! The mob is taking over the palace! Hey you! Knock it off! They are dragging us all to the city square! It's insane! And this woman, she orchestrated it all! I knew I shouldn't have trusted her!" "Let's just observe that, as if it's an old movie," I said to calm him down. "Well," he sighed and continued, it's getting hot in here, my feet...now my knees, I'M BURNING! I'm on the stake! They are burning me!" he yelled. "Take a few breaths and tell me what's on your mind," I said soothingly. "I'll never have money again, it can kill me!" He said instantly, surprising himself.

We talked a bit more about his beliefs regarding money. He said that money can corrupt you, spoil you, make you insensitive and heartless, brings out the ugliness of human nature, such as greed and jealousy. I guided him to let go of his old beliefs, which do not serve him, and adapt a new, positive attitude towards abundance. As he opened his eyes and gazed at me he said, "No wonder I can't get enough money today, I perceive it as jeopardy to my life!"
